The real kicker is that they waste an equal amount of resources pandering to a miniscule percentage of people. I am reasonably sure that BioWare is an outliner with the 80% since they pander so hard to the female/fujoshit demographic, so other games are likely even more skewed towards the white, straight, male demographic.

This was one of the most pivotal moments for me where I noticed Western aesthetics in character design beginning to regress.

I at first though this was just growing pains with trying to cross further across Uncanny Valley and that DA2 she looked better because it was just less detailed.. I was naive and young, I still thought game devs were trying to make content for their consumers - it wasn't until a few games later I realized this was all intentional -making their characters disgusting abominations.
