Purchased right after midnight, Really enjoying the skill checks and locking myself into fail states.
While the underrail and fallout vibes have been mentioned a lot the design philosophy feels much more like Age of Decadence. The way changing character builds completely alters the experience, the expectation of failure and multiple runs to try and get further. The role playing being a mandatory part of gameplay and not just power systems.
It's frustrating, but quick enough that failing doesnt feel discouraging, but eager to try again.
One choice I have disliked is that some doors/elevators need to be re lockpicked every time they are used, making it easy to explore into a corner with no way to progress. With multiple save slots this would be fine, but with only the one, it would be nice if they stayed unlocked or had some other way to return without more lockpicks.
