Not selling the game in Russia is a weird decision. Fallouts are considered cult classics in the Motherland, and a game inspired by them would attract genuine attention.

P.S. Judging by this screenshot, you knew that already.

Ukrainian or Ukrainian family?

Neither. My country was occupied by russians 83 years ago. Previously I thought surely they had changed but then... they tried to do the same thing again in Ukraine.

===

Currently, we are nearing the release date and there's sort of a GIF marathon going on Twitter with "best of ..." material we have accumulated over the years. I don't publish those here because they've been here already and in the forum would make just a noise.

However, this thing is new - tiny but still -

Added a button to focus on your character. Some players asked for that and I think it could be handy.

Cheers!

I'd love to believe that failure in Ukraine would teach them... but unfortunately, I'm not that naive.

Good luck with the final release! Looking forward to playing it soon!

Wow.

I guess I now hate by default the French, the US, the British, the Jews, the Islamists, the Saudis, the Turks, and the Kurds; and their allies who supported them militarily, of which there are many. And that's just the last century. And I'm not talking about the governments in place at the time of conflict, but all the citizens of those nations.

I guess I now hate by default [...] the Jews
Everyone does that though.
Oh, the white folks hate the black folks
And the black folks hate the white folks
To hate all but the right folks
Is an old established rule

But during
National Brotherhood Week, National Brotherhood Week
Lena Horne and Sheriff Clark are dancing cheek to cheek
It's fun to eulogize the people you despise
As long you don't let them in your school

Oh, the poor folks, hate the rich folks
And the rich folks hate the poor folks
All of my folks hate all of your folks
It's American as apple pie

National Brotherhood Week, National Brotherhood Week
New Yorkers love the Puerto Ricans cause it's very chic
Step up and shake the hand of someone you can't stand
You can tolerate him if you try

Oh the Protestants hate the Catholics
And the Catholics hate the Protestants
And the Hindus hate the Muslims
And everybody hates the Jews

But during
National Brotherhood Week, National Brotherhood Week
It's National Everyone-Smile-At-One-Another-hood Week
Be nice to people who are inferior to you
It's only for a week so have no fear
Be grateful that it doesn't last all year

-"National Brotherhood Week" by Tom Lehrer

Kamaz should learn from the jews. Hate doesn't stop the jews from taking the money of those they hate, in fact taking their money is a way to hate them.

A nationalistic game developer with atavistic, somewhat racist historical resentments against another country? On my Codex?

Ukrainian or Ukrainian family?
He's a Latvian nationalist who doesn't like Russia very much. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

you-may-not-like-it-but-accept-it-wwf.gif
He wasn't all that against Russia just a few years ago posting and discussing the game on Russian forums (or was it someone else from the team? It seemed to me that there's only like 1-2 developers on this game). But I guess recent events changed a lot of his views.

I'm also sorry for him — he posted on DTF.ru, which is one of the biggest shitholes full of degenerates out there. That alone is enough to make someone nationalistic against Russians :).

I don't want to derail the thread but non of those are even close to accurate comparisons.

Space Wreck releases in a week,
next Tuesday, October 10.

There's also going to be a launch expansion available right from the very start of the game. Unlike typical expansion which adds content at the end or in the middle of the game, this one expands the very first, starting location adding even more new ways of completing the very first task - finding fuel on an abandoned space station. Because the game is short and meant to be replayed, it makes sense to add more alternative routes at the beginning where you'd have to spend time anyway.

And, of course, the new expansion does not expand the game's length in any way, it is completely optional.

And, also, a small "Thank you" gesture - we added an EA space suit item in the game as a subtle reference to our Alpha, Beta, and EA testers who helped to improve the game in numerous ways.

The space suit itself is embedded in the game world/lore - that's the equipment worn by the very first outer space miners (early adopters) that came to the Asteroid Belt and built the stations you explore. It is very old, clunky and has drawbacks (reduces your AP etc.) however, it is also built with extra redundancy and maximum reliability in mind, so grants higher protection than run-of-the-mill later space suits.

All in all, the game has seen a lot of changes across the board over the duration of the Early Access period. I think it warrants a [short?] replay even if you have played it through already, after all, half of the content is not available in a single playthrough and that's not even taking in account the various different character builds.

FYI you can buy and play it already as it's in Early Access.

I suggest to wait until next Tuesday as the game will launch with a 15% discount. I had to prop up the price month ago, so I can have this launch sale.

That and also, it will have the latest build then with a bit of new content right in the starting location.
