Probably intentional.
2023 gold even though we have the year 2022? Or are you talking about the display of the chain mail in the house?Just looked through this thread again and realized nobody talked about this.
Take a look at the top right corner. That can’t be a coincidence, right?
The gold. This was shown in October 2021.2023 gold even though we have the year 2022? Or are you talking about the display of the chain mail in the house?
Stardew Valley 1.6 Update Available now!
The Stardew Valley 1.6 update is here!
I hope you all enjoy the update.
This update adds new content to the game, focusing mainly on the valley, with additions and improvements to almost all areas of the game. There are also a ton of quality of life features, and bug fixes.
Some of the changes:
- A new major festival
- Two new mini festivals
- A new environmental event
- Hundreds of new lines of dialogue
- A new end-game skill system
- New crops, crafting items, furniture, and more
- A new farm type: Meadowlands Farm
- Multiple pets
- WAY MORE, I don't want to spoil everything
Full patch notes (with spoilers) can be found here and here
The community for this game is drowning in catpiss and hormones...
But I want something where I can build a house and a farm and chill and go exploring; would this game be good for that?
-Can you ignore the NPCs (the in-game ones) except for buying / selling and not engage in the romance stuff? Can I just be a hermit?
-Is the world infinite or is it limited? How is exploration?
-Are there any non-pozzed youtubers for this game I can refer to in case I need tutorials?
Thanks for the information. Social stuff being forced in was one of my main concerns.I've played one of the earlier versions. Npcs will harass you at first coming at your doorstep, but eventually they will leave you alone and you can just focus on your autistic farming. Your mailbox still gonna get spammed by "mom" and other retards though.
Yes, you can ignore them. You don't need to romance anyone or interact with them much and in fact if you don't you can spend more time on your farm. Less busy work and remembering schedules. You can get a dog btw that is very low maintenance and just prances around your farm and barks.
The world is limited, but there are multiple dungeons to explore or some sections where you can get to only by acomplishing certain goals like upgrading your tools. I don't remember it as clearly because i played it years ago.
I don't think you even need tutorials in this game especially coming from some insuferable jewtuber. But theres always a wiki.
The game has a rep of being a chick game with faggy vibes but it's pretty meditative to just chill, go fishing and farm crops.
Didn't they add homo stuff in at some point though? I know it wasn't in there when I played it back in early 2016 but I'm pretty sure they did eventually. IIRC, wasn't there also one interracial couple? The game has a rep of being a chick game with faggy vibes but it's pretty meditative to just chill, go fishing and farm crops.

Right, the female carpenter...of course.Didn't they add homo stuff in at some point though? I know it wasn't in there when I played it back in early 2016 but I'm pretty sure they did eventually. IIRC, wasn't there also one interracial couple?
Yeah that stuff was from the get go in a pretty tamed form. I don't know if the dev ever went beyond that like adding troons and proclaiming his love for alphabet. The interracial couple is some nigger scientist and his mudshark wife.

The game is also _very_ American, with the dumb jock and the dumb blonde etc. Of course, the characters are, at the end, also superficially non-superficial. Personally, I went with the artist girl back then. At least she lived outside town.
The trailer trash girl? Heh. Well, apparently she became a bachelorette later on (after my time).Right, the female carpenter...of course.Didn't they add homo stuff in at some point though? The cute bookish redhead that babysits local children was pretty nice
Yeah, I wrote I thought so above...and looking at the old man's conversations...Curious about whether he added gay stuff later - maybe not because modders covered that up anyway?
Player married to Alex
Male player
“ “How can two men get married? It's unnatural... Hmmph. I guess I'm just "old fashioned"...”
Male player, 10 Hearts with George
“ “I'll admit, I thought it was... strange... for two men to be together. But you're such a nice young man, and I know you two are in love... I've changed my mind.”
Where's the Grim Reaper mod where you kill everyone and "harvest" their souls?

Generally accepted to be Back to Nature/Friends of Mineral Town. It's why Stardey Valley basically copied it 1:1, though, adding more stuff later. So the king of the hill is still a certain version of Harvest moon eh?
Are there though? I checked some years ago and found nothing (via search engines at least). And yeah, I played Crimsonland back in the day. Great game. I think they added paid missions or something at some point. There should be a handful of SW\HM copycats nowadays on steam. Just like devs copy that vampire survivors game, which was kinda of a copy of Crimson Land.
Farming games are mobile territory. Even the most lazy cash grab with sliding puzzles will net you more money than any steam release would. There should be a handful of SW\HM copycats nowadays on steam. Just like devs copy that vampire survivors game, which was kinda of a copy of Crimson Land.
