Are you sure? I think it might be early access, and the release patch would happen at release day. Then they would delete your old saves.

Sure bitching and moaning is the bread and butter of this god forsaken website, but atleast play it yourself or read/watch some reviews before you get down to business?
Two days until us paypigs get to play.
If one can afford it why not? ;)
Because early access is cringe and only exists to sucker nerds out of more of their money? Do the world a favor and donate that money to save the donkeys or something instead of helping to pay for some corpos third yacht.

It's not the engine, it's Bethesda.

Lots of games used Gamebryo without any of the issues you only see in Bethesda games.

Bad argument from this autistic prototranny as expected.

When people are talking about the engine, they are talking about it as a whole. They are not talking about the base engine, they are talking about the base engine, physics and scripting as a whole. You can't dodge the engine argument by splitting the engine into segments and saying that theoretically parts of this stuff are solid. The scripting engine and the Havok implementation have to work in the constraints of the geriatric NetImmerse base and pick up the slack. It's fucking idiotic to argue that these are somehow completely separate beings.

It doesn't mean that the engine is good enough for modern requirements if some less buggy games were released on NetImmerse/Gamebryo 15 years ago. People are not just complaining about the bugs like he seems to argue, but also talking about feature limitations. Just because modders can fix Bethesda fuck ups in the bug department or visually spice up the game on hardware it wasn't designed for, doesn't mean that the engine-level technical debt is not a limiting factor in multitude of ways.

The patch is 15gb. The patch has been applied to Xbox users who had pre-loaded the game. I am not sure if the patch has been made available to the journalist and e-celebs who have been playing for the last couple of weeks. They will be able to publish their thoughts on August 31st. Which is also the date for those that purchased the premium edition will be able to start playing. They won't be deleting anyones saves.

Pirates also get no mod support and for a bethesda game is a sin.
Lol what? I've pirated all of Beth's games, and always modded the shit out of them. What do you mean "no mod support"?
Script extender usually requires the original games to work if you install mod that dont require the script extender they will work but for more complex mod requiring it is hella tricky the moment you try to install the script extender it will register an error as the original client is not found. At least in skyrim not sure on older bethesda games.

This is plain wrong. SKSE works with pirated versions, google is your friend.

In fact a pirated version will be better than the Game Pass/Windows Store one which won’t be compatible with ScriptExtender.

The big question is who comes out on top between Starfield and Phantom Liberty. An absolute battle of the titans here.

Todd Howard is looking for redemption after the disastrous Fallout 76.

Poland on the other hand is trying to unfuck Cyberflunk by fixing the police system.

Place your bets, gentlemen.

Of course Todd will win, that's not a question at all.

Cyberpunk was born as looter shooter sadly it cannot be fixed they can change the progression but ultimately the open world while beautiful is shallow. The branch narrative they promised and the interactivity they promised is a lie. I dont think phantom liberty will be a game changer but we shall see.
