Starfield in No Man's Sky, but without redemption arc.

Looks like Bethesda/MS didn't send codes for many UK/Polish websites. Given that Eurogamer gave some of the lowest scores to two of the biggest games this year (TOTK, BG3) and Edge usually gives lower scores than avg it feels to me like they're trying to keep that Metascore high. Rather dumb thing to do honestly...I would say It's because of the Activision acquisition or something like that, given that it's not just EurogamerAccess to the game appears to have been heavily restricted in the UK
Lastly, a note on Digital Foundry. You should expect to see relatively prompt coverage of the game by Rich and his team after a separate delivery of Starfield code was provided to them. However, this was provided alongside instruction to me by Bethesda that no other parts of Eurogamer were granted access. This was an unprecedented request, but one I ultimately felt compelled to honour to ensure the access granted to Digital Foundry was not subsequently impacted by any other mandate.

They gave both games 4 out of 5. Is that not acceptable now? Must games get a perfect score or their review codes for future games be taken away? I have no idea about the other site though. Are they a big deal?
Todd left those planets there so that modders can populate them, obviously.https://www.videogamer.com/news/90-of-1000-planets-starfield-no-life/90% of the 1000+ planets in Starfield will have no life, according to Todd Howard
Todd howard wants to immerse the players into codexer's life, unbelievable!
Consume resources. Get exited for next randomly generated area to consume more resources. What the fuck is it you actually do on these barren planets? Search for clues that lead you to the next barren planet?
Mods will fix it.All memes aside. I am low keygladrelieved they do this whole "build a landing site dynamically" system.. If they actually created 1000 barren planets as explorable areas in Creation Engine.. That would be so fucking awful if you really think about it.. Even if it was 90% just a heightmap with a few scattered rocks and formations.. the bloat on your disk would be huge.
As was said before, Creation Engine can not procedurally generate terrain - we knew this years ago in one of the first starfield interviews.
Imagine shipping that much worthless shit onto your hard drive.. gigs and gigs of 'empty barren nothing' planets.
What do you mean "What do you even do on these planets?" You pretend you're a space explorer. What the fuck is it you actually do on these barren planets? Search for clues that lead you to the next barren planet?

Starfield in No Man's Sky, but modders will make it somewhat playable in some 5 years.
This game is an investiment on the long run even if the game will be mediocre it will be modded so much that will offer content and fun for decades.I am very hopeful for this game. I recently decided to play Fallout 76 but I didn't even manage to play it much because since recent patch the game just freezes every time during signing in. No driver or game re-installation helps. They broke the game and rendered it unplayable, at least for my configuration. Makes me trust Starfield will be a solid release.

Some streamers would get early access at 1. September.
...
I'm not really sure if this is smart, but at least we would see real gameplay.
Two days until us paypigs get to play.Sure bitching and moaning is the bread and butter of this god forsaken website, but atleast play it yourself or read/watch some reviews before you get down to business?
