People in Fallout 1 and 2 were living in normal houses, with roofs and stuff. They were trying to build cities, not piles of trash.
Freaking Modoc in Fallout 2 looked more civilized than Emerald City from Fo4, lol.

maybe the main problem with starfield is the clothing. it's really lame and gay. a lot of females only like Elder Scrolls to play dress-up

to be fair I spent a lot of time in Morrowind mixing and matching different armor pieces with cloaks, something you can't do since Fallout 3 combining all the armor into one wearable item instead of breaking up gauntlets, pauldrons, greaves, etc

Are people really paying money for skins in a single player game?

Looking at some of these mods makes me want to do another playthrough. There is no release date for the DLC yet? They said it's coming out in fall but that's kind of soon. Are they crunching?

Rewatching the trailer again, they do seem to add some cool stuff. An ethereal looking new race. New aliens, and something that looks like a minigun that shoots ether rays or something. And zero-g combat. The new planet looks pretty cool and better than anything currently in the game. Story might even actually be interesting too.

Note that they're calling it the "first story expansion", meaning there will be more. Hopefully they'll flesh out the universe a bit and actually add wide reaching changes to the universe that exist outside of the DLC areas.

This mod adds a new cyberpunk themed apartment in Neon. Dude, the currently released mods alone make the game at least 50% better than what I played at launch. And it's been what? A couple months after the release of proper modding tools? My expectations were not disappointed so far. It's shaping up quite nicely.

There is no cope, just straight up facts. With hundreds of modders working on the game it keeps getting better and better.

Modders turned Skyrim into a medieval fantasy life sim. Well, with Starfield they'll turn it into a life sim IN SPACE.

There's nothing like it out there.

you could literally patch the game with new elements on the periodic table and add new crafting and research recipes, there's no limit to how much potential Starfield has

modders should just copy the mechanics from Watch_Dogs 2 verbatim, enemy factions fighting and calling backup etc

The randomized dungeon enemies mod I linked above has that.

Reinforcements
If you are in combat with a human enemy for a random length of time (30 to 90 seconds), they will now call for help. This spawns one to five leveled enemies, either at the front door if you are inside, or nearby if you are outside. They will run toward the level boss, alert and searching for you. This means dungeons are no longer as linear, as you must watch your back most of the time. This doesn't trigger in space.

Assaults
Every time you change locations, there is a 20% chance that another faction is preparing to assault the enemy. They will spawn in random numbers (one to ten depending on the type) and attack the enemy. This includes Starborn if the main quest is far enough along.

Todd was found quaking in his crocs under his office table after he found out about this.
This some Russian game? I guess they can't get sued for being a blatant ripoff then. Doubt it will be on any of the major platforms though.

It has working vehicles, unlike Starfield
They should be patching them in soon.
did they also patch in that you can see POIs from orbit in your ship with your scanner on or was that always there? that almost cuts loading screens in half. i think most players just have no idea how the mechanics work

What's the point of vehicles if there's no content to support them?
