Played a couple of hours last night, went with adult aristocrat with cursed bloodline (+1 in occult, increased crit failure).
3/3/3/8/8/8 stat spread, skill points into occult, psychology, science and speech.
Atm adventuring with the butler and the outsider who is teaching me about occult matters.
Had an option to recruit the lady who is looking for her husband, but i guess you cant have more than 2 companions (for shame!).
Its great, lots of skill checks, nice choices. Combat is ok, got a lotlot bet after i iearned the al razi spit spell for main char. I do not plan on running from combat, unless forced to.
Rest mechanics are great!

Anyway, in short - the game is amazing, a bit janky, but well worth the full purchase. Buy it to support the devs.

did you beat the warehouse with 3 agi and no combat skills?

Atm i am lvl 4, i still didnt visit the warehouse. Cleared out the post office and went to bed afterwards :)

I saved all the portraits onto my HD for use in other games/my PnP creations at a later date. The art is just sick, absolutely sick.

I don't normally play Human in PnP but with these portraits I could really get into a human character

Regarding crafting requirements. Do they necessarily have to be fulfilled by the main character or is there a way to utilize follower skills? For example, can I get my follower w/ +1 medicine to craft me that sweet sweet cocaine without having to spend skillpoint on it myself?

This is my character:

Valentin Sokolov, handsome stud actor who doesn't see why insane nutjobs roaming the streets should get in the way of him getting his dick sucked by the latest Hollywood starlet, while he mainlines the purest heroin he can get his hands on.

I plan on sneaking past any enemies I see, and those that spot me... well, I have athletics for that. Or maybe I can charm the pants off them...

One of the best portraits imo

They obviously went for Arcanum style portraits, but failed

An oasis of love and friendship.
Make the Codex Great Again! Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. I helped put crap in Monomyth
rolling an elderly (physique penalty) aristocrat w/ a cursed bloodline who has divine beliefs as he looks to the Lord after knowing the horrors of the occult are real in an attempt to undo his curse.

Is a pendulum just any pocket watch, or any item named pendulum?
Pendulum has nothing to do with watches.

Maybe he means pendulum clocks

To my knowledge there are no pendulum pocket watches but feel free to prove me wrong. Pendulum itself is just a primitive mechanism to measure or create frequency which can be used for clocks but that does not make a pendulum a clock.

I was just speculating, I know that pendulum clocks are not pocket watches

Prime Junta was probably right that he meant a pocket watch used as a pendulum

Who was in your party when you ask her??? I have the butler as i am glorious nobility, also some mexican and the ghoul. Maybe that is why she doesn't want to come with me. Shame that i can't save and try kick out some of my companions and see what happens. Also guys have in mind that you can't kick out the butler!
Yeah, I only had the outsider so I had a free spot.

How the fuck do you get past that brick wall to get at the safe?
I used my SCIENCE!!

Can only the MC use lockpicking? I was hoping to find a subterfuge companion to take care of safes...

Was genuinely just making sure. Besides that and natural skill checks, there are probably tools you can find or purchase to get the job done. And of course bribing big stupid mobsters to bust it for you.
