Can u continue playing your second term? Or does the game end anyway after second term elections? I dissolved the parliament and made myself president for life. Removed power from judiciary and locked them all up with bogus charges.

I was killing communists and marxists left and right and banning Marxist youth groups from university. Believe me beheading communists is easier than talking to them.

Same here, was killing communist, capitalists and gyspsos en mass, then the game got butthurt at how well my country was and decided to just end it by just losing the war for no reason. That said, the other communist nations were pretty ok to deal with. Democracy retards were really annoying cunts. After angola spat in me face i just when full support for the commie country. They were all "i hate you for killing off our communist agents......but we have a deal".

It is an unfinished game, the second half really shows it. I was thinking of doing that after the elections, then i died in russian blaze of glory :smug:. Did you do the emergency powers thing at the start?

I didn't, I told the old guard to fuck themselves. Made an alliance with the nationalists and the progressive wing of the party by just promising the leader that he will be my VP after I run for a second term. Passed a constitution that gives me incredible powers. Tried the ex president after removing his immunity and hanged him, removed all evidence of his legacy. Went capitalist route and free market but internationally independent. Had +4 surplus at the end did not know where to spend it. Banned red youth and increased election threshold. Formed secret police and arrested the interior minister.

I just went for emergency powers and crushed anyone in my way,the whole country loved me except my retarded wife and the two sjw cunts. The police woman was a true chad, old blood, even had a nice diner with her :smug:. Went for the reasonable nationalist where i want to make my country a power while still being conservative and traditional, everyone loved me,had strong modern army and was the strongest economical power in the region. Then i died because the devs were butthurt faggits.

Just blasted through this in one sitting. Piece of piss. Got my big constitutional reform through (historic victory) with almost no concessions made, secured full gender equality, attacked and insulted all the big business owners and they couldn't do shit about it, literally ended the entire recession by the start of the third year and got unemployment down to like 5%, upgraded to a WORLD-CLASS healthcare system, constantly neglected and insulted the military and faced absolutely no repercussions for it, maintained good relations with everyone and avoided war with those weirdos in the north, and my entire family loved me just to top it all off. Won the re-election for party leader by a landslide too.

No idea why the FUCK I lost the general election at the end. Like literally everyone loved me, every speech I made was widely acclaimed, the strategist guy even said most of the country loved me, and I fucking lost to the progressives, who made me Vice President or something. What the fuck.

The endings of Suzerain are in dire need of considerable reworking and expansion, since there are only a few of them and the game shoehorns you into one or another, even though the relatively brief text of the ending might deviate considerable from what could reasonably be expected given your actual performance as president. In particular, the re-election seems to have as alternatives either a landslide victory for your party or else your party sliding all the way down to third place behind both the reformists and the nationalists, which is a conspicuous lack of granularity. Similarly, the war with Rumburg appears to end either in resounding total victory or humiliating total defeat (possibly nukes launched as a third alternative in certain conditions), and the route by which these endings are arrived at is similarly glossed over.

Got the same outcomes, with the differences being I went full free market and military instead of healthcare. I'd wager my mistake was just retaliating and not going to war with Rumburg.

At least you get to run a football club :mixedemotions:.

Doing a NatBol / Muldoonist playthrough (socially conservative, planned pro-honest working man economics, bro'ing with Wehlen but didn't join the Not-Warsaw Pact, giving the Blundish a chance but slapping them if they try bullshit) and this game is pretty fantastic. Developers are pretty good at not letting bias show through (what is pretty insane for 2020) and your character giving logical reasons for doing just about anything. E.g there are respectable anti-feminist women. The family drama is quite well-written too (FUCK Monica). I started as a neo-Sollist but took a more leftwards term when I found out the Not-United States was grooming my conservatives into neoliberalism.

A worthy spiritual successor to Hidden Agenda (though I think Sordland is a lot larger and stronger than Chimerica, probably more akin to Yugoslavia, Argentina or Italy while Chimerica seemed a mix of El Salvador and Nicaragua).

At least you got to run. I similarly made the country great again and all I got a black screen right before the election telling me I got shot, the end.

The random "You lost the war because reasons, lol" ending is pretty bullshit. Ah well, at least I won't need to pay alimony to SJW ex-wife that divorced me for not supporting womyn rights.

Still, a pretty okay visual novel. Too bad things got rushed/cut near the end.

Won re-election and beat Rum. Probably helped that I allied with Vargsland but didn't join the communist alliance. Didn't even have to invest in the military.

Nationalistic socialist playthrough went pretty damn well. Wonder if there's anyway to win the Sollists to your side without going full dictator. Also is there any downside to taking the Underhill bribe at the start?

I didn't touch Sol and his cult of personality, and the Solists didn't oppose me at all after the reforms were passed. And the Minister of the Interior, who I think is an ardent Solist, was one of my most fervent supporters by the endgame. And she disagreed with me on most policies except for law and order.

I grew the economy significantly, avoided war, joined ATO, threw my VP under the bus, had a female VP, got the socialists in the cabinet to resign, easily won re-election - with the liberals coming third and the nationalists second.

This politics stuff is easy.

If you remove veto, put limit to mandate, drop the % to go in parliament and strip Soll of privilege you get half party to support you, then the hardcore sollist lady will ask to make change (grant to Soll or raise the % to go in parliament) and all party will support you. After all It Is the most reasonable party.

Can the far right party support the constitutional reform?

It can, you just gotta go full dictator. Still, it's not terribly hard to push any kind of reform if you have enough wealth – I spent exorbitant amounts on bribery, and in the end, my dictatorial reform was supported by the majority of the reformists.

This. I would say that the choice of the origins is basically the difficulty settings for the game, with the rich fag being easy and poor fag being hard.

Did you manage to execute the judges?

I lacked one vote in the SC to push it through, from the text in the meeting with the female judge the tipping point was supporting capitalism.

If you don't divorce your SJW wife, you failed your run. There was no more unlikeable character than her. "I am the first lady, someone unelected, with exactly zero mandate, but if you don't help me push my agenda upon the populace, I will divorce you, tee-hee."

Also, I'm pretty sure that it's implied that she...
Has an ongoing fling with Peter's wife.
