So I've been thinking about this chainmail bikini that was mentioned. It's something natural in fantasy games but have turned into a joke or even haram over time and I understand if you don't intend to have skimpy armour for females.

However you could add one as an easter egg. Like maybe you visit the Duke's wife's room and open her wardrobe and there it is! You take it and even though it gives very little cover it somehow magically gives the wearer an armour bonus... Don't know if you have magical armours though...

Another option would be that you find it in the tomb of a dead princess. You descend the dungeon, enter the tomb, open the princesses chamber and there it is on the skeleton/zombie... However don't know if that flies with your no-magic setting.

Otherwise just have one for sale at the local blacksmith but have it be worthless as armour because of low protection. He intended to create a full chainmail but he was lazy and didn't finish it. So it shows your butt and your cleavage.

But, why?

I mean, is it that important?

It is not really "natural in fantasy games". It was simply a way for creators to show off female bodies to attract attention. You can see it on various fantasy book covers. It was then adopted by fantasy games. Is it important? I guess you could call it a tradition of sorts (or an inside joke/easter egg), the same way you have to do rat quests in RPGs.

Joke armor is an important tradition, and also possibly useful in the early game. Chainmail bikinis might be borderline useless, but they're still better than nothing.

Man can someone give me 200€ so that I can have my face as a portrait? I will pledge 50€ as Infinitron for now.

And best of luck! Looks great!

e: I would rather have my face in the game than get two copies of it. What am I supposed to do with two copies anyway?

wait there's a demo? :shredder:
Yes we have a 2-4 hr demo attached to the campaign
Will base my pledge based on the demo... tomorrow.
They don't allow pledging below $1. That's fair! Please be kind.... :O Zero feedback yet, I'm so damn scared people will find it too WIP for their tastes. Your feedback is gonna be really important. I barely had any yet, except for the few testers we have.
Did my part, got the €20 pledge. Best of luck :salute:
Thank you dude! We'll make it RIGHT, I'm sure!

Thank you! We did the multiple copies thing because our prev kickstarter experience had a surprisingly large amount of backers ask us for the ability to get multiple copies to use as gifts to friends, so we made it possible this time.

Atomboy Publish an ATOM Kickstarter update about this campaign ASAP: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/atomrpg/atom-rpg/posts
That's pretty brilliant, thx!
Also went for a 15 euro pledge. Good luck!
Thanks!
Backed. Best of luck!
Thank you!
+1

I'll try the demo soon and see. Having a demo is nice, otherwise I wouldn't consider pledging tbh.

Thanks! REMEMBER ITS WIP Tho!!
