Blockers get shield bash, which combined with a one handed spear is a lots of fun.

I feel like most dodge builds are fucked once they put a net on you, block builds need a bit more investment but pay off with greater absolute carnage potential.

Nah, at high enough dodge nets don't do that much. If you survive it, then you're in clear.

And by the midgame you're wearing armor that makes nets not a death sentence anyway. On top of that, the amount of enemies who are guaranteed to use nets is very, very small. I recall maybe 2-3 instances in my entire playthrough where it happened.

So much dodge vs block talk. Both are overrated. :M

That's very impressive, but he's still a little bitch because he doesn't have high enough lore to cover his face in Ra's helmet. JAFFA KRI.

he does tho
IIRC the RA check is
7

Weird, it wouldn't let me do it at 9 as I recall, which is... you know, yeah. I guess maybe it counts INT and you had really high int.

(I'm assuming Ra is the final fourth mode. It seemed to be the best statistically anyway, I didn't confirm when it was added to the list since I went through them all at once.)

I don't understand how that crit strike dude did it. Partially: I dunno how there are that many kills to get in the game. Like if you fought every multicharacter battle a thousand times to make sure you got every kill? I dunno if the game has been out long enough to reload enough to do that.

Did the AI always use aimed attack as much as it does in the current build? From trying a no-defense build myself I don't see how you could do it without reloading until all your 20% attacks hit.

Just opened a save with 8 int and 8 lore and ulocked RA no problem but the check only says lore so not sure if int plays into it

And I'm also pretty sure I remember the cut off being 7 a while ago

I don't want to jump to that conclusion any harder than I already have. It's possible... it's... it's possible... that I may not be sperg enough to see how it's done

That's the fourth mode, right? Dunno then, maybe I'm remembering wrong.

Savescumming until RNG is on his side?

This is another thing. Some people like to savescum. I don't. If I can't win a fight most of the time, I change my build, not reload until I win.

It's been done quite a few times before. "They can't kill you if you kill them first" build.

No, but he did it after the AI was updated.

See, I think dodge is even better at this. When I got really powerful, most enemies killed themselves on their own turn through dodge counterattacks. I guess it does save lots of skillpoints for use elsewhere, though.

A critical strike to the arm decreases accuracy by 30 points and disarms the target. I can see how a high crit value and a lot of reloading could be enough even for the toughest fights.

Good luck hitting unweakened Agathoth in the arm. :^)

(20 reloads later... IT WAS SO EASY!)

I dunno, maybe eagle eye neurostim makes that THC more reasonable. I just whacked him with regular attacks due to the higher THC.

The disarm is pretty minor. It only takes them 1AP to rearm a one-hander AFAIK. It's cool when you're playing a dagger guy and you can use it to disarm a guy then back off or something.

I can see would get much more manageable after Teron. Plus most of the IG fight have a ton of allies with you and he'd just be stealing their kills with megacrits.

But thinking how many times I'd have to reload to kill the Aurelian outpost with only rat poison... oi

I'm actually less interested in how he managed to win the fights but more in where did he find all those kills.

I can see where maybe 200-250 kills could come from but I have no idea about the rest.

Vault Dweller

Have you considered making it so that every kill that your allies get counts for your bodycount value?
I remember that you changed SPs for individual kills because it encouraged 'kill stealing' and this kinda does too in some ways.

Well he does have enough lore to weaken him.

Really one of the most impressive builds I have seen in the game.

Nah, maxing body count is mechanically pointless, so you might as well make it hard to do.

If you manage to stack a head, arm, leg, and torso crit, you can basically turn your opponent into a toddler. Just a matter of RNG magic.
