Isn't that just a remake? Onimusha was meh to begin with

Fuck off, Onimusha 2 was awesome. And no, it's not a remake, but some sort of reboot with different characters and story.

Well that was shit. I guess I should be giving Naughty Dog a thumb up for finally doing a new IP again but I just cringed.

Naughty Dog back!

With a shaven headed ugly tattooed black female protagonist.

:negative:

Looked like a one giant product placement ad too…not optimistic.

If google images is anything to go by they actually made the actress less ugly.

Why do they keep making games for an audience that doesn’t play games?
Subversion. They are playing the long con and hoping that they can defile standards further than they already have.
Ok but like were any of you guys actually interested in anything Naughty Dog was putting out or coming up with?
The Last of Us was a solid enough game to me. At least until the DLC.

The underage lesbian interracial romance was weird and off-putting but the base game ended in a satisfying manner and I don't believe it needed a sequel.

I didn't get it though I heard what happens and it was seemingly written out of pure spite for Joel.

So, yes and no to your question. Had Naughty Dog not been yet another development team to go completely off the deep end there is a timeline where I would have been excited for a new game from them.

Uncharted series and the original Last of Us were fun. Even the LOU2 was decent gameplay wise if you could ignore the other BS.

The chance of us getting a straight white male protagonist are over though it seems.

I think the only game of theirs that I've played and liked was the first Uncharted. The sequels were too OTT and silly + didn't require any actual gameplay, hated TLOU. Meh.

Nah, depends on how this game is received, but they'd have had all that in motion well before all of the recent backlash had happened. If the game is solid and received as such, probably fine. If they end up with something like the reaction to Flintlock or SW Outlaws, who knows?

I won't lie, my fondness for TLOU is more so a fondness for the zombie genre itself. It didn't really cover any new territory in itself but I'm a sucker for exploring ruined cities in a zombie apocalypse.

The only thing that was cool was Joseph Fares' new game reveal. The guy never misses. Also that Witcher trailer was a masterpiece compared to the Netflix show.
What else? Mafia might be interesting and I'll probably play the new Virtua Fighter. I already forgot what else was shown.
