It was not a fan favorite, other than among post-Xenforo newfags and some declined sellouts. I was by far not alone in crusading against the custom avatard plague since day 1 at xenforo. Oh, glorious day!

I've had the same gargoyle avatar pretty much since I registered here. I'm just too lazy to go dig for it.

Whether you or me used custom avatars is beside the point. Those who liked them will be "allowed" to pay for them at one point. And pay they shall.
