It must be extra aggravating to have your necro mourn the death of his useless minion.

But yeah...it's really poor design to have a 5-point trait that only benefits a specific build.

And you should change your avatar, the wyrm taint is stinking up the place.

The necro's minions are kind of useless to begin with since they often just run around aggroing stuff without attacking effectively but that one's really aggravating indeed. I understand that in guild wars 1 that it was overpowered but there's a limit to overnerfing. At least there's a few apparently useful traits that are not build/weapon specific.

I figured that the stink would be welcomed here ;)

I doubt it was even nerfed because of that. Notice how shitty the servers are now. Imagine if every necromancer came with 11 or 12 other allies following them. OK, so that won't change much. First imagine necromancer in GW2 is a useful and interesting class that people want to play, then imagine jacking up the numbers to 11x/12x.

Early on in GW1 before the expansions it was possible to have an unlimited number of minions (note for those who didn't play GW1: Minions could only be raised from corpses and their health decayed constantly without effective ways to heal them, so it wasn't that easy). 100+ minion armies was awesome. Expansions added/changed skills that made healing and keeping large minion armies alive too easy though, so sadly the cap had to be added in for balance purposes.

You're probably right on the server lag factor. I thought that I got slideshows in pvp because of my humble hardware specs but yeah on the long run I kinda noticed how often I got dumped on the overflow server. Never was a big pet fan anyways I'm more of a hands on dual daggers guy. They slowed down the reanimator's spawn bleeding rate lately so I finally got to see it play decoy a bit. Now if they could only stack healing power with the life drain or at least make it somewhat more threatening I'll be a happy camper.

its not about the bugs, the content is just darn stale.
It's like replaying the same game over n over, you just don't feel like doing it.
At least it's free of subs, so u can pick it up when u forgot about it enough to make it seem fresher.
But I wouldn't hold my breath.

I actually bought it just when it came out, but didn't manage to play much. Think I only got to lvl 30 or so, so the content is not that stale for me.

I was already sick of all the bugs that kept popping up, didn't have time to play and then when the FotM update came out I just decided to uninstall till a much later date.
The only thing that can stop me from playing again is if the lvling zones are ghost towns.

Is that much, considering the amount of hype it had, being the saviour of gaming industry and MMOs?

Hello,

After reviewing the issue, it appears that your account was blocked in error. Your account has been released and you should be able to log in to Guild Wars 2 once again. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Please let us know if we can assist you with anything else.

See, this is the kind of Live team you have to deal with. My guild still plays a lot, and when a member sent 100 G to the leader to purchase siege equipments, he got banned for engaging in selling items/gold for real world money.

And when they realize they've made a mistake after a week of banned status, he got nothing out of it but his access back.
I still wonder why some people pull out their credit cards for the gem scams.

It has a long cooldown 20 seconds. That trait is a waste of time.

Is it me or is it really really really laggy last two days?
Nexon has introduced a new item to the cash shop: Godspeed of Champions. With it, you get a priority connection to the servers for 5 hours.

As a GM, I see people getting scammed every day. It's hilarious and sad how stupid some people are. You'd think after someone gets their account scammed, it wouldn't happen again, but no, it's a constant thing for some players (as if "give me your password" isn't a warning sign enough). At a certain point you just stop helping them, period, and tell them that you aren't responsible for their own account security.

Uh, in what manner is my guildmate being scammed? He just sent a hundred gold over, leader received it. A.net GM saw transaction, labeled him Gold Seller and banned him while he was away during New Year's vacation.
Logic much.

I was more replying to your last statement about why people fall for scams.

For real?

remove a boon removes a stack.
just like removing condition can remove even 25 stacks of bleed.
but since offensive skills tend to cooldown faster than curative... you know how this goes.

What retard came up with "stacks" of a condition? It's multiple applications, instances, units, etc. that are a stack. Hell, you don't even need to say that. Simply saying "I have 5 bleeds on a target" is infinitely more correct than "I have 5 stacks of bleed on a target". Fucking illiterate MMOtards. I feel the need to throttle someone whenever I hear about "stacks".
