Shit, I totally forgot about Underrail. How far along is it? Is it as good as it seemed to be shaping up to be?

I played a little of the current ALPHA build (I bought the Desura version). It's pretty solid, even for an alpha.

If you liked Fallout 1, you'll like this. Completely playable, no crashes for me. But as I said, atmosphere reminded me of Fallout. Maybe even the closest thing since the original. A great indie crpg. Fun too.

Zigfrak and Underrail might be worth looking into. Ai War is also good.

At first I was only interested in Underrail, but wasn't sure if I wanted to spend $7.50 on an Alpha. Then I clicked on Zigfrak and watched the trailer and it looks good. I'm hoping it is at least a bit like Wing Commander: Privateer as it talks about shooting and looting. Can you grab cargo and sell it off, or is it more action than RPG?

I found out that AI War: Fleet Command is well-regarded here at the Codex: http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/index.php?threads/ai-war-fleet-command.61709/

So it looks like I'm going to jump in on this bundle for those three games. But what about Fortune Winds: Ancient Trader and Sanctum? Anyone have any thoughts in regards to those?

I've heard good (Vague) things on Ancient Trader, but that was quite a while ago and I don't remember the details. Take my vague "I THINK I REMEMBER SOMEONE SAYING IT WAS GOOD SOME TIME" recommendation as you will.

Sanctum is a first person shooter tower defense hybrid. If that doesn't completely put you off the idea of playing it, then a quick rundown of it is "Less polished and entertaining than the Orcs Must Die series but has deeper tower defense strategy". Requires a bit more tower placement and thought than OMD but doesn't work as well for an action packed good time. Not too bad if the idea of it sounds alright to you.

Sanctum is closer to a true strategic TD game but it isn't exceedingly deep. The FPS part is rather boring -- doesn't blend the two genres well. Of course, I don't really think you can. Either you make a strategic TD or just a heavy action game with some light TD elements like OMD or Dungeon Defenders.

The mystery titles in the Catnip bundle on www.bundlestars.com have been unlocked: Scratches - Director's Cut and Chrome: SpecForce.

10 games in total - 9 on Steam.

Worth it for Pushcat and Nikopol alone.

Only 4 days left to buy.

What is Nikopol? I've had it on my Steam account for ages and have never bothered even looking at it.

Nikopol is a first person adventure game. It lost my interest after forty or so minutes but if you're into adventure games you'd probably enjoy it.

Can't comment on the others, but Cargo Commander's a cool little game.

Prices on those shoot up way too fast. Only really interested in Cargo Commander and Dungeon Hearts and those will be cheaper in individual sales.

Edit: Traded an Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet key for Cargo Commander so I'll just pick up Dungeon Hearts later on. Doubt the other stuff they add will be anything good.

Not really liking Cargo Commander -- pace is a bit too frenetic. Seems like one minute after I start exploring it's OMG WORMHOLE GET BACK TO YOUR SHIP.

Does the Indie Royale bundle give you the all the episodes of Back to the Future, or is just like the first one? If it's the whole game the bundle might be worth it since even in a steam sale BttF will still be like $6.
