No. Skidrow cracked the initial release and then decided the game was so shit they would never, ever want to look at it again, hence no crack for the patch. By now other scene groups must've read Roxor's review and said, screw this, we're not bothering with that shit either.

I don't pirate to try games out, but the fact no crack yet exists for 1.1 discourages me from buying a DRM-infected game in the first place.

I haven't played any Gothic games (Risen closest) and know ArcaniA bites but is this deal on Steam today worth it for Gothic 1, 2, and 3 (Forsaken Gods edition)?

I haven't clicked your link but I guess Forsaken Gods edition just means it comes with the G3 "expansion" too. Don't touch that one, it's a piece of shit on the same level as ArcaniA.

EDIT: Checked your link, yep definitely go for it. G1 to 3 are all awesome games (be sure to get the community patch for 3, although I have no idea how well it works with the steam version), but Forsaken Gods is shit and ArcaniA I didn't even want to try after reading Roxor's review.

I'm guessing it'll be shitty as an open world rpg but it's a fun hack and slash. Timing based combat is a lot better when your character moves when you tell him to move.
