UI looks like babies first Simulation game where you click on cards to advance things followed by obnoxious sound effects. This is the exact kind of thing I would expect in a mobile game for teenage girls with the attention span of a gnat.

Nobody ever really tried to enter the genre and compete, giving Maxis carte blanche. They introduce bug after bug and have zero urgency to fix but the most crippling of them. Nickle and diming their customers because they know the can. Then what happens when someone does offer an alternative? It looks like total dogshit, is pozzed enough to make the Maxis devs blush, and will most likely be a buggy, money grubbing mess on release. Yes, it is indeed cursed.

LBY and Paralives are both pozzed in their own separate ways. But everyone in the life sim fandom is shilling Paralives right now because they've been served shit for so long that they don't even remember what a next generation Life Sim was supposed to look like (hint; paralives isn't it, and it is not even close).
We knew what the genre needed sometime around the end of The Sims 3. Before anyone knew what The Sims 4 would be we had the power of our imaginations. It was supposed to be an advanced mix of the best features from The Sims 2 and Sims 3 with more maturity, realism, and deeper simulation. But instead they'll be clicking conversation cards and selecting level ups for their "Para's" in Paralives while thinking it's worlds better than The Sims 4, when in reality it is just a side-grade. A different flavor of the same shit. There's nothing in that gameplay video that you can't already do in The Sims 4 but they are too stupid and dumbed down by this point to see it.

Sims 4 is state of the art and industry leading. It's really pushing the limits of what a life simulation can do.

Skin condition where patches of your skin turn pale. While it occurs in all races it is most noticable in black people.
Because it's a life-changing condition that is easy to add because it's just a matter of how you color someone's skin.
It's life changing because it makes darker people just a tiny little bit closer to whites, which removes a little bit of their natural savagery. They should feel blessed.
