Steam decided to ditch the 5€/$ coupon when you buy more than 30€/$ games.

I think it's only available in Lunar New Year sale? But yeah, was expecting to get Spelunky 2 for cheap, but maybe not

It was definitely in 2019 winter sale and in the last couple summer sales.

Seeing the news that their Autumn sale was biggest sale yet, its easy to understand why they dont feel the need for it.

Are you guys judging that by your wishlists? Because items on mine are 100% missing and some can't even be found via Steam's search engine. Call to Arms, for example DOESN'T EXIST. You have to either Google it or go through its publisher's portfolio to find it. Or some similarly convoluted way (like, pressing on "Call to Arms" in the chain: All Games > Action Games > Call to Arms > Downloadable Content > Call to Arms - Season Pass when looking at the DLC for the game).

So I am pretty sure there are A LOT of deals that are missing beacause of Steam's error. It's just not yet visible at the moment and people are unaware of it. Hopefully they'll fix that.

There are several games that I hoped will have a good discount and all of them are less then 50% off. One game Im interested, Atelier Ryza, is not even discounted and even if its due bug at this point I doubt it too will get 50% off.

Nah, it's on sale almost every big sale. I know because every goddamn time I look at it and think about it. It's made by the Expeditions Conquistador/Viking dudes. Also thought about trying to rope a buddy into playing it with me but he's even less into stealth than I am and I'm not sure either of us would like playing the handler, so harumph. It is a cool idea though.

More honestly though, I keep weird hours for gaming which is why 99% of what I do is either singleplayer or it's random matchmaking shit. The buddy I was talking about there is the odd exception since we tend to keep the same nightowl kwan hours for gaming so we match up a bit easier as well. And we don't use microphones. Also why odds are he's the only one I'll play co-op BG3 with, and the only one I played co-op DoS2 with. Sorry bro, but the game was rigged from the start.

steam decided to ditch decent sales for how many years already now? 4? 5? more?
even most of the -75/80% are for years old games still at full price, most often with a hundred dorra worth of mandatory dlcs.
