Go easy on him, he's used to seeing those xbox dashboard ads that are more clear (catering to the user base and all).

Left 4 Dead 2 for $3.74, worth it?

The community is an abomination. Better if you have some friends to play with. The bots are okay but it is essentially a multiplayer game. Co-op is fun but full-on versus (where you can play as the infected) is the best.

I'm on the fence on the Tropico 4 collection for $16..last time when I played the demo, noticed how the game has improved transportation system for commuters and goods/produces. Enjoyable for a casual strategy fan.

Same here. Then again, it looks pretty much exactly like Tropico 3. The changes look marginal at best. And I'm not sure whether I want to pay $16 for a marginal update, even though (or especially because) I quite enjoyed Tropico 3. I played it a lot, and the strategy was most of the time exactly the same, in the exact same order.

Anybody have an opinion on Fray? It's a sci-fi phased-based strategy game that came out last month that's on flash sale for the next few hours.

Why don't they have some proper fucking games on sale like the Arma II collection or those DCS flight sims or Cliff of Dover. Showing Theatre of War collection now as a salve for more monocled gamers..pfft. On GG I got the entire 1C collection(there are actually about 20-30 decent games there amongst the crap) WITH all the TOW games for $20 yet the false god is selling this for $12.50?

Still, it IS a good collection for those that would like a decent hardcore RTS.

Utter crap. The developer came out on the Steam forum and admitted it is still basically in beta and shouldn't have been released. To top if off it is pure multiplayer only, no AI or bots.

I broke down and used my reward blue coins to get SotS2 and SotS1 complete on GG(all the 4X discussion made me want to round out my collection) instead. If they suxxors then at least they were free. MHC really burned me with his promise of milk and honey in the Steam sale.

You have to wait for the daily deals with the Steam sale -- it doesn't all happen day one.

Still 8 days to go, bro.

SotS1 complete is excellent though.

Tempted to buy a second copy of Borderlands for my 7 playthroughs, just to piss off the Codex.

Nearly got the civilization collection until I realized it doesn't come with Civ II. What good is a game series collection if it doesn't include the best game in the series?
