is just cause 2 worth the 3.74
God yes, if you like over the top ridiculous shit.*

*This is based on like an hour of fucking around. That hour gave a really good impression though and I don't see how it could get so much worse to not be worth $4.

I guess my last buys of the sale were mostly games that never made it to the front page. That should keep me busy for a while.

Edit: I added up what I bought, and I actually spent $150 . That's quite a bit more than intended. On the other hand, it's 42 games, not counting DLC. It's a bit insane, anyway. I should probably imply a rule not to buy anything else until I have played what I have. Or at least most of it.

I would have bought Skyrim for 75% off. I guess Bethesda wouldn't allow it.

Too soon,it did reach 50% that is when I brought it (currently flash sale) ... would go disk but its Steam activated so its a problem either way and 50% is nice, its only going to 75% in winter or next year.

I got the Saints Row: The Third Franchise Pack that is also on flash sale now.

Oh Just Cause 2 is DirectX 10 only and ... well I guess I should run it in a few months but just saying, if you are on XP its just wasted space.

If anyone was waiting for a better deal on Saints Row 3 the final flash sale has a 'special promotion' where buying the entire franchise pack is just 80 cents more than base SR3. So it's the base game + all DLC for $13.29.

thanks for the headsup bro. I was kicking myself for missing the amazon sale, and had already given up on the steam sale days ago, so I would have missed this.

Looks like it's probably more of a glitch so if people still want it, get in on it FAST. Pretty sure they were charging like $25 for that pack earlier.

True, it was just short of $25 last time, with the base game costing the same as now ($12.49). I seriously considered buying it, but decided to wait for the winter sale. Now this. Took me about 5 seconds.

FLASH SALE! FLASH SALE! MAKE UP YOUR MIND NOW! PRESSURE TO SPEND MONEY! AAAH! IMPULSE BUY! :P

I honestly liked it better when the events were "play the games you just bought->get achievements->unlock doodads" instead of retarded flash sales to pressure people into splurging more cash. Especially when the flash sales are just repeats of dailies, sometimes without the DLC the daily came with.

SR3 is the best purchase for this summer deal. It's the sad truth really.
Number two spot would probably be taken by Warlock.

Nah... that's not what I'm saying. The price is a glitch, not part of the sale. IE, they could catch it and revert it back any minute now.

I ended up getting Sword of Andhaira and Spess Mehreen + DLC this sale. I also got Warlock, but I bought that through amazon since their deal was better. I've just been going through the motions of making a random vote every day to finish the achievement thingie. I remain emotionally disengaged from this sale. :decline: of GabeN.

Yeah, they've had a few price fuckups this sale. Anno 2070 collection for $25 which I grabbed, this Saints Row 3 complete pack, and earlier they had MW3 briefly up for 75% off. Briefly as in scant minutes, though.

I think all I got was Binding of Isaac and some Paradox DLC. I thought long and hard about getting Risen, but decided against it. I did want the Game of Thrones game, but I'm not spending more than 15 bucks on it.

I'm starting to realize that 75% off something I'll never play still isn't a good deal. I'm perusing my library right now and I don't even remember buying some of these games...

I guess I have no idea what some of the indie games I have are. Q.U.B.E? Splice? Vessel? No clue.

Edit: Vessel looks actually pretty neat .

Does SR3 need vista/win 7 or dx11 or GFWL or some other retarded shit?
WinXP and DX9 are sufficient. No idea about the DRM.

Edit: Fired the game up for some time. I didn't notice any obvious stuff like GFWL. It seems to use Steamworks.
