Are Armored Princess and Crossworlds worth getting?

Does Crossworlds need the former installed to play it?

Crossworlds is an expansion to Armored Princess.

If you liked King's Bounty then you'll like those games as well. The monster-box was replaced with dragons and the overall game difficulty was considerably upped.

New King's Bounty is coming. $26 for War in the North + Fantasy Wars.
Hilarious. Wasn't that game being shown off like a year ago and then it just dropped off the face of the planet?

I really hope it's not just another rebalance with a few new units like all the last games were. King's Bounty is awesome but that game came out 6 years ago (!) and they need to do something new with it if they want to keep my attention.

Is Katauri developing it or is it another studio? In my brief search it doesn't seem that Katauri is associated with this title.

"Somehow, I'm not exactly impressed by my savings here," writes Mark.

"It was only at that peak speed for about .00000000005 seconds, though, perhaps the bigger WTF is how I can't ever get over 30kb/s," laments Parry.

"#steam_store_text_replacement_broken" notes Brian V.

Dan noticed a similar issue as Brian V. did above, though his situation appears to be a bit worse.

"This message appeared any time I tried to start a game from within Steam," reports Arran.

"Does this mean I need enough room just in case I want to download the entire Steam store?" ponders Stefan.

"The Steam auto-updater has an interesting sponsor," writes Igal Tabachnik.

"Looks like a great sale," wrote Wesley C., "but that still isn't cheap enough to make me buy it!"

Kevin asks, "If I agree does that mean Valve can make up the agreement later and I'd be bound by it?"

"I use steam from a Finnish installation sometimes," writes Matt, "and when trying to launch Rochard, Steam displayed this message. The message and dates are in English, except they've been 'bent' as if they were Finnish - 'Aprilta' and 'Juneta'."

So, Doom 3 BFG Edition apparently includes the classic Dooms. I wonder how they compare with the classic Doom editions already available for purchase on Steam.

Update: http://doom.wikia.com/wiki/Doom_3_BFG_Edition

The Doom and Doom II version also have some changes:

Removal of all Nazi references, including the Swastika, Hitler's portrait, furniture and textures
Removal of the International Red Cross symbol on medpacks and berserker packs (the Red Cross have been complaining about what they regard as the abuse of this symbol in games)
Map 'Wolfenstein' (map31) and map "Grosse" (map32) have been renamed to "IDKFA" and "Keen"
the SS soldier sprite is replaced with zombie man sprite
Runs at 1080p resolution on consoles and desktop resolution on PC
Changed weapon sounds
Changed unit ID's in maps 31 and 32
Changed textures in map 31
Changed music in maps 31 and 32
Can not be run on the Xbox 360 if Doom 3 BFG edition is installed

Alpha Protocol is on sale today only for $5. I recommend everyone buy it because RPG Codex likes Alpha Protocol THIS MUCH

Unless you're Skyway. Then the wheels are too sharp.

I should have grabbed this a year or so ago when it was $2 as I've never seen it dip to that price again.

Who gives a shit about alpha protocol when AI War and the first 3 expansions are 75% off until October 26th http://store.steampowered.com/app/40400/ ? The new expansion came out today and is 10% off at $4.50, and patch 6.0 should be added to steam very shortly. Interesting tidbit, Arcen guy said that the update changelogs from 5.0 to 6.0 all add up to more than 65,000 words.

Does it have romances? It's no real space game without romances.

Probably, but it's still worth $5 to check it out. Despite all the flaws (And man is it flawed) it's still pretty interesting. Large amount of story C&C, you'll hit the same places basically every time you play but the dialog can change quite a bit. The game's also perfectly content to let NPCs lie to you and mislead you without you ever knowing depending on your actions, and there are some pretty well written and entertaining characters. Also your character can be tastefully raped! :obviously:
I'm not talking about the gameplay in all this 'cause that's the weakest part, but I played through AP twice (And wouldn't be opposed to playing again at some point) and I pretty rarely replay games.

I played through alpha brotocol a couple times when my computer broke and it was 19.99 for ps3. Almost had all the trophies and shit I was so bored with everything else.

I got it for 2 bucks whenever it was on sale and haven't touched it again. Probably not worth 5 with all the indie bundles around the same price.

Just noticed Toy Soldiers finally got the Steamworks patch and they fixed it so it runs properly in 1920X1080. They're also running a sale on it for $5. Not entirely shit action-tower defense kinda along the lines of Orcs Must Die.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/98300/

For $5 you could do worse. Definitely not a YOU'RE NOT A GAMER IF YOU DON'T BUY THIS GAME game or price but if you like that style of thing it's ok!
