Game of Thrones RPG is pretty cool. Well written characters with plenty of C&C.

Choplifter HD and Hunted!!!!!
Getting excited just thinking about it! (i probably would buy both at 75% off)

(edit: maybe not choplifter hd though. even though i loved me some choplifter what i saw of the gameplay of choplifter hd looked relatively chopliftery but not chopliftery enough)

Choplifter was 75% off during the Summer sale so you did indeed pass. Hunted was still $10, I think. For $5 I might bite on it but it still looks really bad.

Same here. I was actually thinking of getting The Bards Tale trilogy for my Android.

According to Brian Fargo's Twitter feed, there's going to be a universal inXile sale on Monday, on Steam, Google Play Store, iTunes, simultaneously.

Grabbed the Sherlock Holmes pack, gonna skip Game of Thrones until I can get it cheaper. Looked up the Sherlock thread on the Codex and those games seem relatively well liked so I figured what the hell. God knows when I'll get around to playing them but MORE ADVENTURE GAMES FOR THE PILE!

Especially Awakened isn't very long, IIRC, at least if you use the hint system if you get stuck too long.
Of course, if you use the :obviously: alternative of finding out everything on your own, it might take longer.

Code for $2 off any Amazon digital download purchase. Won't last long as it's an 'apology' for them running out of keys on the Squeenix pack so maybe a few hours tops. I used it to grab a free Warlock DLC.

Code still works, and I "bought" the same thing for it.

Woah, Bard's Tale is 75% off. I know it looks like some PS2 popamole port, but still, is there something good about it?

I had fun with it. It's a hack and slash that focuses purely on hack and slashing, with no tiresome Diablo-style loot management. You summon different creatures for different tactical situations. It also has some fun minor C&C. The plot runs out of steam two thirds of the way through but I think it's worth 2.5 bucks.

It's got good humor and the voice acting of Cary Elwes and Tony Jay is great but the game play itself is fucking horrible and the story utterly generic and forgettable. The summoning mechanic is pretty neat but the combat wears out its welcome about an hour into the game. You just slog through maybe four or five enemy types again and again and again with basic hack and slash techniques. Just consider it paying $2.50 for the original trilogy.

The third might be 256 although I want to say only the Bard's Tale Construction set did that. First two I'm almost positive are 16/EGA max.

Brah, I once made my dad pay $300+ for an Enhanced Graphics Adapter. And that was in late '80s dollars!

The new Bards tale chokes on my reasonably new ati card, making it unplayable (any particle/light affects screw it over) buyer beware. hopefully i'll get the update with the originals and be able to play them.
