Codex tries too hard to make people have buyers remorse.

Picked up Borderlands 2 and all the dlc. Might spend the rest of my money on valkyria chronicles but I'm not convinced by these Japanese games, I'm better off waiting for someone to gift it for me.

I would buy the bioshock triple pack but I already beat the pirated version of infinite and beat bioshock 1.

I'm not big into strategy games either.

I just want max Payne 3

The game's story is weird. I mean, it's your average wannabe pacifism crap, but you kinda know it's been done by people who don't really understand the military or didn't bothered to try to have a different mindset than the one needed to prove their points.
Compare the game with, say, Full Metal Jacket, a movie which is apparently well loved by military people.
That's because it's not actually about the military or war...
...it's about military shooters. It tries to make the player think by giving terrible consequences for the way they usually have fun with a popamole shooter; going in guns blazing, following the rails and not really thinking about what is going on apart from shooting the enemies as they show up.

The whole thing kinda falls flat because the combat in the game isn't actually any fun, so the dramatic device lacks impact. If you play it for the "story", struggling through the combat to get to the next plot sequence then it just seems weird.

That and, y'know, the entire twist is pretty much dependent on you being a cawadooty kid and not knowing that it's a criticism of military shooters. If you aren't and you do know, then the game loses a lot of its impact.

i have like 400 games on steam and ive only played like 20 of them

and i dont even care baby

Don't care but will cry about MUH BACKLOG from time to time, whenever it's possible.
Steamtards not learning animals.

i've never mentioned having a backlog because i don't have a backlog because i've hardly played any games in the past 4-5 years

dont quote me acting mad because you're poor

I just throw all of you to one bag because it's more convincing and most of you create these inane backlogs sooner or later.

Not a lot of sales this Monday. Is there some big sale coming up?
Noticed that, too. Not that the weekly sales were any good but kind of strange. Maybe there's some kind of gaming convention event going on?

Chinese new year sale?

Hey, you called it.

The Steam Sale strikes again with incredible bargains for the Steam community. In honor of the Lunar New Year developers and publishers are slashing prices and BadLand Indie is in on the action. This sale round we're offering the action match-3 puzzle game Castles by WhootGames for $1.98 and the relaxing puzzler Awe by BadLand Development Studio for 89¢ . The Lunar New Year sale begins February 5 at 9:50 a.m. PST and runs until February 12 at 10:10 a.m. PST.

Codex 2014 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy
I'm gonna spend $10 on this sale, and I down to two choices of what to play.

#1: I spend it on some Hidden Object games.
#2: I spend it on Thiaf.

Thoughts?
