You can't delete local content?Anyone here fluent in legal-speak?
I want to have Dota 2 removed from my library (so Steam stops recommending me similar garbage), but support is insisting I apparently don't have a "cancelable subscription" for it. Any magic words to convince themto get fucked and do as I sayotherwise?
Hm, I might try that, but not sure how genuine I can make it sound with money still left on my account.Valve is a business, so maybe a nicely worded message that the game being on your account makes the service worse for you and makes you want to use Steam less could work. Hint that there are alternatives where this problem doesn't exist, but you would like to continue using Steam as much as possible. Once potential money loss enters the fray they take you more seriously.
Hey, I always am. I consider my 'fuck's and 'shove it up your arse's to be purely an endearing feature.Edit: Also always be polite, that stuff helps more than many people think.
go to account details (https://store.steampowered.com/account/) and you may be able to delete them thereI've noticed that once you add any free games on your account, they stay there. Would be cool if Valve added a feature to remove them.
You only pay with your innocence and gullibility.Wait, is it a paid subscription?
From a certain amount of garbage in the account on, the system doesn't have a clue of what to suggest, anyway, except for stuff on my wishlist. No clue. Not as if the Steam recommendations are any useful.
I think the system already starts failing far below 100 games, if you are not very careful. It tends to suggest "popular" games anyway, regardless of preference.lol, I have 502349 games, of which I like 4.
