Yeah, same. I can toggle that off but I thought you meant the shit that's down and to the right of that on the side. Wish there was a mod that got rid of all of the shit except the main marquee and the specials list to the right.

Oh, I meant for the client. I know about adblock for Firefox.

Who the fuck uses the client? And highly doubt you know how to work adblock elements and filters.

Valve's main OpenGL guy quits and moves back to Texas.

I'd assume that at this point Source 2 must be pretty much done.

Yes. GabeN, release a (single player) game, or release Doug Church to OtherSide Entertainment. :outrage:

Apparently the Steam version of GTA: San Andreas received an update to add controller support...along with a bunch of bugs and quite a few songs gutted from the radio.

The joys of digital distribution. I need to stop using this garbage.

And those people here who saw through this transparent maneuver were right:

I guess GabeN couldn't be tricked that easily. Or RadioShack didn't like his customer service references.

Last seven days of Steam top seller ranks for some recent RPGs. (From http://tools.garry.tv/steamchart/. Pillars, Final Fantasy and M&B: Viking Conquest are pre-order.)

GabeN needs to pull the plug on SteamOS, Steam Machines and that silly controller and entirely focus on game development for DirectX. I bet the reason we don't see L4D3 and HL3 yet is because they can't get Source 2 run properly on this piece of shit OpenGL abomination. What a waste of everybody's time.

I think improving the state of gaming of linux is a far nobler cause than making another dull shooter.

Half-Life 2 is ten years old today.

I think one of my old posts here was how it was my most played game at the time. Can't even bother to launch it now, even for the memories.

If Gaming has become a wasteland of DRM, it's pretty much HL2's fault.

No, thanks to Steam we no longer need to put up with SecuROM, TAGES and other intrusive shit that was likely to lock up your computer and spy on your pr0n.
