Why would I want to have a bust of Geralt which I would have to keep in a box where no one would see it, to avoid embarrassment?

So I would only take it out at night and gently caress it?

Hm, OK, still not worth $130.

Ahahahahahaha, Geralt's head, ahahahahaha. WTF is this shit I don't even hahahaha

They should include Geralt's veiny dick instead. At least they would appeal to females and get some additional bucks for fantasy dildos. It would also be a mighty inclining step from the sexcards from Witcher 1. Hell, with this they wouldn't even have to introduce Biowarian nextgen gay porn.

CD Projekt bows out of the game of chicken with EA Bioware and into the Q2 wasteland, good news for Volournians everywhere. You know what kind of game gets released in May? Alpha Protocol. :smug:

I'm sure it'll be totally awesome though, I hope those extra months are enough to make it a solid release.

That CE looks pretty fucking fat, though, I'd especially like to get my hands on that dice set.

But there's no fucking way in hell I'm paying 130 bucks for that.

And the only thing I want from CE... is that dice set.

A bust? WTF!

A Witcher amulet would have been a cool thing and logical as well. What addlecove thought a bust was a good idea?

Though the release date gives it plenty of time to fall in price before sandy bridge/bull dozer come out and I can upgrade my PC and fall in my 20 1990 dollars buying limit. I'll likely buy another gig of RAM on Newegg next month (along with the headset I was looking at) to hold me over and let me play the first game at a decent clip (because I deleted my saves when I was done because they were very bloated)

Throw in a proper poker set with board and 2 sets of dice and I'd pay 130.

As of now, standard price and download the dozen or so uber-updates later.

Supposedly on their forum they have said there are two extra editions, the $130 one with a ton of shit and a cheaper one without the more extravagant items. I have no confirmation though, as I don't speak non-English.

I don't get the appeal of collector's editions. A simple complimentary map is always nice, but I ain't paying extra money for stupid shit like statues and fake money. Get out of here with that.

Twenty years from now, when you see mint condition TW2:CE's going on eBay for $10,000, I bet you'll see the appeal :smug:

River of Time Polish CE had a manual for p&p The Dark Eye, a dice set, a map, a copy of the first Drakensang and some other stuff, and it only cost 50% more than the regular edition. This is about the only one I wish I had bought.

As for TWitcher2 release date - just in time for my wife's birthday. :smug:

I assume we'll get the rest of Geralt's body (to go along with his head) in the inevitable Enhanced Edition?

Source of most The Witcher problems was Aurora engine
Now that they got rid of this wreckage , i can bet game will be more polished then most AAA titles on release date.

I don't think bad dubbing, bad translation and clone-like character models were effects of using aurora engine. These are the things corrected in EE, right?

Wtf. The subtitle is "Assassin of Kings" and they release it 2 days after the Ides of March?
That'll be the Ides of May I think, although I could only find : "On The 15th of May 1800 AD George III survives 2 assassination attempt"

Wrong thread, mate, we're discussing CD Projekt RED's work not that of Obsidian Entertainment.

...zing!

I've heard that game reviewers receive a special version of the bust of Geralt's head.

Do I want to know, I wonder?

NWN had clone-like character models.
