Not as a witcher. That's the whole reason we're even having this conversation to begin with. I did acknowledge why they picked her as the main character for the game, but it doesn't give developers any credit. Just my opinion though.

Yes, I'm also not entusiastic about her going through the Trial of Grass.

They're okay but all of them are VASTLY inferior to the true king of fantasy today Joe Abercrombie. His First Law trilogy is the only bright flame of masculinity, grit and badassery in the rank darkness of gay, estrogen-laden YA garbage that is modern fantasy.

I had never heard of this guy, so just now I fired up my media piracy machine ... a 100% legitimate vendor website, and boy you weren't kidding about that last part. Here's a blurb from Red Country, which I believe is book four of First Law:

They stole her brother and sister.

Shy South hoped to bury her bloody past and ride away smiling, but she'll have to sharpen up some bad old ways to get her family back, and she's not a woman to flinch from what needs doing. She sets off in pursuit with only a pair of oxen and her cowardly old stepfather Lamb for company.

Tomb Raider, Control , Resident Evil 3, Mirrors Edge and Alien Isolation. Its subjective if you like these games but they all entertaining

Hell yeah. Put respect in Tomb Raider and don't be shy about it. One might not like the game, liking one thing or the other is subjective after all, but to deny its importance is being ignorant or delusional. It's like the original Doom, younger gamers will never know what was to be in the hobby during the 90s. The jumps in videogame quality during that decade boggled the mind. It shouldn't be understated.
