Another fun study on this topic I remember reading about was one where they had people rate sexual attractiveness of given models on photos, and they had multiple different photos of each model with different ages attached to them. People would rate the photos marked with below 18 significantly lower even if they also rated the same model at 18+ as higher. Cucked beyond belief.

A wholly compromised and politically motivated study, unless its purpose was to test the subjects' biases regarding reported age. Although testing that would seem moot because everyone knows that women can make themselves seem a bit more attractive by subtracting "a few years" from their ages.

A suitable study to reveal the degree of social conditioning related to sexual taboos also. Perhaps.

I kinda skimmed over that part because it was not entirely important for discussion about: Witcher the saga that pays for CDPR salaries, and pays taxes to repair Polish budget.
Some grow up faster, and they look fine in 14, some of them (for example of noble blood) grow up slower, and they look fine at 17. That how women are.
Technically Ciri was 14-16 in the beginning of the Witcher books.

It's funny you say that. One guy actually did show a picture of his wife and daughter and his daughter was pretty much a copy of his wife, so even the argument "Ciri got old" doesn't really apply here. Unless we include a plastic surgery.

Hell, he even showed his wife Ciri's face from the trailer and she couldn't recognize it's Ciri at first. Her initial thought was that she was looking "a bit like a viking" (which was also my first impression. I even compared Ciri to Assassin's Creed: Vahalla character earlier in this thread). The funny part? This guy's wife "knew all about things Witcher-related", so she wasn't just a total rando being given a trick question, meaning she should've recognized Ciri instantly. Which clearly shows there is something different about Ciri from the trailer (and many more people around the internet think so, too).

No, the problem is making her literally a witcher, she coulda been MC and a pseudo witcher beside the elder blood stuff; witchering coulda been one of the paths she coulda followed among other shit but this way they are essentialy replacing Geralt & they get to make the game with the same incredibly succesful W3 formula. They have their agendas and shit but first and foremost they are cowards.

I'm probably not going to play this game for a plethora of reasons, but dead-set that Netflix series (and Saplowski was involved) completely killed my interest in Witcher.

They had the novels, the author to consult with, slavic folklore, free Henry Caville to work with alongside 3 games that perfectly nailed the world and tone for the series. They could have pretty much live-actioned the stories from the games and it would have been fine. Not to mentioned this was after GoT left a massive hole in the fantasy genre that showed a serious tone, slow pacing etc was a winning formula.

I was hyping it for friends and family no way this IP could let me down right? -> NOPE we got a fucking disgrace of a show that fell of the rails into 1 season, followed by some weird spin off amateur LARP looking diversity shit no-one asked for. It was just so bad -> I just don't think i can come back to the series :/
