Of course it will.
Nobody here cared about these games. But with W4 you can not only make fun of the game, but also the people who like it.
Double the fun.

Of course no one here cares about the games they spam hundreds of pages about even before the release happens. We care about the ones that maybe reach double digits if one of the plants re-posts some social media posts.

This level of polish cope lmao.

"You laugh about the game, that means you are interested about it"
"It will sell well, therefore the game will be good. Take that chuds"

Where is the cope?

You'll play it and whine about it, just like Witcher 3.

Certainly it will sell well. At this point trying to boycott Witcher 4 would be as effective as the famous boycott of Hogwart's Legacy.

Will it be good? We shall see. With CP2077 CDPR has proven they are strong not only in story department, but can also create engaging gameplay. Will they do the same here? I guess we'll find out eventually.

You know people who tried to boycott HL never had any real power outside of being loud in social media and they are probably masturbating to W4 right now where as people who aren't happy with W4 news so far are actual players who have the potential to impact the game's success. We'll see to what extend it'll be from the marketing and the game itself obv. I have my preliminary predictions

Im definitely not going to boycott W4, once its released I will play it and then I can objectively comment on it

I have already mentioned that Im not happy the main character is not Geralt or another male Witcher and thats because the Witcher world is a mans world as far as the stories are concerned and its going to be strange playing a women

But Im not going to write W4 off until I have played the game

And then Codex gaming " boycotts " are probably the most inconsistent and lacklustre types of protests and outrage you could be part of

They typically involve people complaining about a game for years and how shit its going to be and then when the game is released most of the same people ranting about the game end up playing it

Unlikely i'll play this game, but typically i just watch some mute youtube gameplay of something then decide if i want to play it. It's pretty easy.

^ this guy has to buy and play slop to even know if it's something he likes or not. Then he likely defaults to some utub'er's opinion to tell him if the games good or not.. and if the games shit then he will start posting about sales figures. If the sales figures suck too, then it will be mods or i wait for DLC to save it.

trust me, just check the starfield thread.

I wouldn't call *not buying a product you have no interest in consuming* a "boycott".
The same way I'm not boycotting Veilguard or soy milk. I just don't buy it.

Anyone here was exited about playing Veilguard, Dustborn or Concord?
Nope. I confirm that no one here is ever excited about the latest current thing console pseudo-rpg from a big dev/publisher. It's kinda contrary to what you might think looking at the boards, but I assure you that's correct.

Are certain people here even aware how 3D models are produced? Hint: this process has fuck all to do with the engine used by the game. Unless they have half of a braincell and lost all of their source assets in a server crash, they wouldn't ever need* to "recreate" anything.

* "it's 2024, so we need pimplerays and frecklemaps. also, 100000 polygons doesn't cut it anymore, we need at least 200000" does not constitute as "need".

Lmao holy hell Geralt's married life in the big city seems like such a shitty deal.

Sure, i get it, he has a shitty job and business isn't what it used to be, but still, he got to travel around, meet interesting people, and bang the occasional willing wench what more did he need?

This whole thing with Yennefer just screams of Andrzej Sapkowski projecting his own problems into his writing.

When I played The Witcher 3, I reconciled with Triss and was gentle with Yennefer in her moment of existential crisis. So they both chimped out, naturally.
...and set Geralt free. For me the game ended with him at a tavern, broke and heading out on The Path again. A perfect ending, and the perfect end of my interest in The Witcher.

Libtard or not, Sapkowski is several orders of magnitudes more interesting than those woke retards.

Yennefer is a far more interesting exploration of the problems that would uniquely beset a woman in a world like this.

She studied magic not because she is an independent smart woman who can do everything a man can do (and better!), but because as an ugly misshapen hunchback or whatever she used to be she had no value as a woman. And the price she had to pay, the inability to bear children, clearly weights heavily on her.

A modern writer would never write a character like this. A woman, suffering because she can't bear children? Unthinkable. She has a lucrative career as a mage even if she could get pregnant she would likely have an abortion!

Anyway this story is depressing i liked the dragon hunt much better.

Holy shit now the bitch is cheating on him why is Geralt not dropping this gypsy harlot. He has experienced nothing but misery since this character was introduced lol.
