With content like this i really fear for the gameplay to be casualized and the whole story being low effort, as wokeness is both cause and simptom of a shit game.

He got dozens of civil comments asking about the woke stuff, yet he chose this one to respond so he can frame it as "nazis" complaning about his game. What I learned years ago is that both extreme sides of the political spectrum believe the same insane shit (hello there horseshoe!) and base that entirely on some cherry picked sets of out of context quotes and stories completely made up in their tribal echo chambers. One group resents us for an imagined agenda, the other group celebrates us for the same, while we are caught in the middle just going "dude, what?"

In that statement, both Vavra and Klima clearly state that they haven't found any evidence of any black people living in Bohemia at that time. So to include them is a political decision. They decided they wanted a token black character in their game. Which might be acceptable (because no one can prove there weren't any yada yada), if they didn't spend 10 years defending the exact opposite decision in the first game.
