A pretentious name for a pretentious cardboard cuttout villain. How very fitting. He even speaks with all the depth of a saturday morning cartoon character. All that was missing was the "I'll get you next time gadget garrett !"

In other news, Heresy was banned from the Eidos Forums as he has the "Permanent Vacation" tag. Please note that the post that got him banned was just the post where he finally admitted that Thiaf is going to flop!

Actually, that isn't why I was banned. I was banned because people like you would report me to the mods simply because I would speak my mind and not behave like a sycophant and because of something private with Spyhopping the mod. This site, however, seems to be a bit more relaxed, so I don't think many of you will be pushing that button. But then again, I see one guy just got infracted for saying some guy had verbal diarrhea so who knows? But still, NOTHING beats getting an infraction simply because you said "crucified."

Heresy was the Eidos montreal official forums dumbfuck of unimaginable proportions.

Your compliment has been noted.

He referred to every post he ever made as being "classic"

Because that is what they are. I must do nothing in life but speak the truth and the truth is every word that proceeded from my brain, that flowed from my fingertips, ended up making a classic post.

and hated any game more then 4 years old calling them "relics".

This is false. There are plenty of games that are older than four years that are not relics. Mass Effect, Gears, Uncharted, GTA4, MGS4, Bioshock, etc. However, relics can be defined as games that people still cling to even though the value as a franchise is minimal or non-existent. As another user pointed out, Thief would be such a franchise and so is ED.

He praised EM on every stupid decision no matter how bad it was.

This is false. What I did was not behave like a petulant and entitled child like most of the forum users did. When EM did wrong I said it. When they did right I said it. I called it down the middle.

As for why Alex is bringing it up was because Heresy was the biggest white knight on those forums besides the moderators, who let him say whatever he wanted, attack anyone he wanted, and break any rules he wanted without consequences. Yet the second he says he hopes Thiaf flops into the bargain bin he is banned in a heart beat.

Alex often reported me to the mods and I was no white knight. The mods did NOT let me say whatever I wanted or attack anyone or break rules. If this were true why did I have a 75 point infraction and banned for two weeks because I told a guy "google is your friend?" Why was I infracted for saying I was "crucified?" Why was I told to change my original username and remove the links to my company while others were allowed to advertise and have their username as a company name? Why did an ADMIN have to step in and tell the mods that they were overstepping their bounds?

I was not banned for saying Thief flopped. I was banned because of people like Alex (who reported me before and it resulted in numerous infractions) and because of my spat with a mod in PM of all places. If you want part of the specifics, a guy asked me a question and I felt he was trying to bait me, so I told him that I would not respond in depth because his post count was too low (six at the time) and that he should spend more time in the forums. Nothing more. He responded by laughing, but someone else reported it to the mod. The mod contacted me in PM and said I was infracted and things went from there.

And when I say he was a Dumbfuck. I mean codex day one Dumbfucked and banned. Thats how bad he was.

Well, it is obvious that at this point you were either a lurker on that forum or someone I properly dismantled and left for every hateful bird on the face of the earth. However, I am here now and this is my first classic post on this site. Time to live people! :)

Now, as it pertains to Thief, I can see the game getting 6's to low 8's. Even so, the game is going to flop. Most new games or franchises on new systems see a huge amount of units sold, but I don't see that for Thief. The company didn't do a good job of distinguishing itself from other properties like Dishonored and AC and the title doesn't bring anything new to the table that revolutionizes the made up "immsim" genre. It is a game based on a series that died a long time ago and should have remained dead, and I believe the PS4 will be the leading platform, followed by last gen platforms (360 and ps3) with either the PC or XBONE coming in last. I can see the PC version coming in last. I mean let us be truthful here, if it weren't for PC players the franchise would still be alive and kicking today. Don't go rambling on about mods, that is not what I'm talking about but is a topic for another day.

You never dismantled anyone but yourself. But you do get a small amount of respect from me for calling out the mods for their endless bullshit. But overall this should be interesting nevertheless.

lol, this guy's trying to post Mass Effect fanboy posts in the Bioware thread:

The ME series = some of the best games in gaming history. As a transmedia IP it works and I'm glad I played all three multiple times. After I beat Crysis 3 I'm going to enjoy the series by reading the comic and novels, and playign the games, in order of the story.

Posting here because I ain't authorizing that

So...Dumb fucked and banned in one day as I said Infinitron or keep him around for the butthurt and lolz ?.
There's no reason for a banning. He hasn't come close to breaking any rules. Dumbfuck tag seems appropriate. Unless we have something like "agent of decline" that would be perfect.

I suppose it makes sense that the Eidos Refugee Thread would get its fair share of transplanted drama. That's what happened in the Codex Refugee Thread on the Watch as well. Ah, that conversation between "Fretrider" and "bryce"...

If I'm not mistaken, there were three Fretriders in that thread at one point.

Agent of decline is a fine choice and a very fitting label for him along with Dumbfuck and not a learning animal. But I must say that I am VERY intrigued to see the reactions from obviously prestigious codexians to this malignant agent of decline.

Come on buddy, drop the troll act

I mean people who say this kind of stuff are either dumb as fuck or trolling. You called the Eidos mods out on their bullshit, so you can't be a dumbfuck! That makes you a troll, which I wholeheartedly welcome :salute:

Just keep the trolling on the dumbfuck boards, where the greatest rewards are reaped. You're among friends here.

The thing is I didn't bring it here. One of the main people who would press that button over there was the one who mentioned it here. I'm simply shedding a bit of insight on the situation and correcting those who need correction.

And you want to know the truth? Deep down many people here know I'm right and WANT to call things like I do but they can't because preconditions and bias prohibit them from doing so.

From what I gather, there's maybe two or so "prestigious codexians."

:butthurt:

Long live PC gamers then... imagine thief as an AAA franchise today? we would have much worse thiafs... and it would be successful and probably a thiaf game release per year... Thiaf X: stealth corridors.

You really don't understand the Codex. People here say whatever they want, whenever they want. Unfotunately, in many cases, but that's what makes it such a heartwarming locale.
