Nah. The "Codex script" of this video is the one where he slowly strips while soulfully looking into the camera and whispering "Torment: Tides of Numenera" over and over.

When I was scrolling down I saw just the tip and thought I was going to see a deformed cock at first.

Hmm, a billion years, that´s so far into the future that humankind could have become extinct and a race of sentient squid people could have taken it´s place as intergalactic superpower... several times over.
eXACTLY. Monte points out that these past civilizations dont need to be human - particularly.

I would expect something more "out there" than a corpse with a venetian mask. I like the look, i just don´t think it´s the kind of thing i would like to see much of in the setting (i.e using current stereotypical imagery as reference for their monsters, characters).
There probably will be things more "out there".
This at least gives a post apoc vibe nicely and is a nice first concept.
I kinda like the mask. Looks like a remnant of something.

Real 90's dudes ignore manually, disciplining one's eyes to glaze over and the middle finger to scroll over at the first sign of shitposting.

I hope they really go over the top with weird, alien (by alien I mean unfamiliar) shit. This is a really promising setting, and they can let their imagination run wild and break a few tropes. Or better yet, a whole lot of tropes. It would justify calling it a Torment succesor

Seeing that fucking cool concept art of The Bloom I think it will be heading in that kind of direction (unfamiliar and strange alien like).

And get us that damn Bloom Wallpaper.
