The SS reminds of Shadowrun and that is good (just not impressive at all), however, the game should be set in future, but it looks like distant and funky past... They forgot or anything goes, because it's PST.

minus points for not including anything that would show scale.

OK.

anything goes, because it's Numenera.

Fixed. You haven't read much about the setting if you think it's supposed to look classic-futuristic.
I won't argue that I did, but it looks nothing like future at all. Lamps with wiring? Please...

It's a world that has remade itself multiple time through *billions* of years. None of the rules from "normal" settings apply. That's why it's so perfect for Torment.

So technically this is future stone age or we will see lasers and implants?

You seem very certain of how the future is supposed to look.

As civilisations rise and fall there are many possibilities for how things will look, not necessarily all slick and glossy.

The answer is convenient. The future will be convenient. In other words no physical wiring, that's for sure.

think of AoD's setting iterated a dozen of times or so
So basically you have technologies from different times co-existing in the same instant.

How does it work?
it's a videogame

Screw the rastas.
We could use Colin's shinning bald head to reflect a background from TToN.

(if you're reading this... I'm just joking man :codexisfor: )

Fargo looks like an ugly tranny on that one

It's future stone age with remnants of old age technology. So it's a weird mix of stone age and hyper-technology. Cool as fuck. You should read something about it instead of bothering us with recounting it :M

To be honest the screen shot is a wee bit underwhelming, but my expectations were impossibly high so there was really no hope. Parts of it look good (bridges, shrine thing), while other bits are kind of a mess (perspective, coherence).

I'll reserve judgement though, since it's both (presumably) a mock-up and not yet animated.
