inXile, please hire me to make portrait. I do good portrat.
And then they failed by leaving dark facial hair. The end result just looks like some gay emo boy that colors his hair.
So that's MCA's character, who's supposed to have some sort of heroic glow whenever he's about to overcome impossible odds.
I get the intention of the artist, but even if you know what the character is supposed to be about, it still looks... off. The effect they're going for (the unearthly glow) isn't pronounced clearly enough.
But if you don't have any prior knowledge about him - he just looks like someone with fabulous hair that's reflected under direct sunlight.

Fuck that. I want a detailed review to generate buthurt and torment.
AOD releases a final content patch and you decide to play a beta of TTON instead. It shouldn't have taken the Ghost of Hanukkah Future to tell you how that would work out.i caved in and tried it

And thus, at last, Roxor learned the true meaning of choice and consequence.AOD releases a final content patch and you decide to play a beta of TTON instead. It shouldn't have taken the Ghost of Hanukkah Future to tell you how that would work out.i caved in and tried it

curiosity killed the rat
There is not even a scintilla of a possibility that the art team is unaware of that idea. As I've said before, I was blown away by how thoughtful and conscious they were about the intersection of art, narrative, gameplay, etc. You may not like what came out of it, but it's not because they are unaware of some basic axiom like that.If anyone from inXile (apart from MRY) is reading/lurking here, please pass on to your art team - the portraits serve as a visual introduction to the character, they should be interesting and immediately tell us something about their personalities.
Just another edgy 'impression' from Roxor....
