How many CRPGS can a man work on at once? Although, I do believe he said he's done working on Wasteland 2.

Aaaand the backer-exclusive things have been rejected

It is important to us to reward Torment’s backers for the faith and trust they will place in us. But while we believe that many backers would enjoy exclusive content, we are persuaded by the arguments that have been presented against this type of reward.

What it basically comes down to is this: altering the gameplay experience for backers feels inconsistent with the spirit of crowdfunding as we see it. Our commitment to our backers is first and foremost to create the best game possible – and not just for them, but for everyone who desires the game we are promising to deliver.

We are pleased to announce that we are thus discarding the rewards that would influence gameplay through exclusive content. Thank you all very much for your feedback and perspectives. Long live the Tormented

Well, he's still working on the novella AFAIK, unless he produced that with his usual turn of speed. But y'know, his main job is at Obsidian, working on Eternity and the pitches of their next game. Him being involved here does depend first on his availability, not on stretch goals.

We are pleased to have @thomasbeekers (Brother None) now helping us on production and community support for WL2 and #Torment

:hmmm:

Brother None: I think that you should use a more fitting avatar now that you are a community manager.

The romances seemed very proto to me in Torment. Sure, the basic gist was there, but the majority of the relationship even among the romanceable characters was more friendship than romance. I hesitate to even call Fall-From-Grace romanceable at all.

I had problems with registering as well but I've managed to "fix" it myself by using forgot my password option. I remember I had similiar problem with inxile ranger center and IIRC I fixed it in same way so I think Inxile has problem with sending confirmation e-mails.

This is horseshit. Thank you. End of line.

:blacklists Codex:

I'm not a community manager, I'm a line producer. Streamlining and improving communication and interaction is a part of my job but not, like, the only thing.

I'm just hoping they have a firm no-go policy to romances (much better ways spend) before the inevitable romance stretch goal idea pops up on the forums, and gets tonnes of votes.

That doesn't seem like a good, natural approach to story writing though. Just a general comment, not on Torment specifically, but my feeling is you shouldn't "start out" determined that there has to be romance or there has to be no romance. You write your story, your characters, your followers, determine narrative structure and flow, and just kind of go from there to figure out if romance feels right in the story or not. Pre-defining it doesn't seem smart, to me.

Right, to clarify myself a bit, I definitely wouldn't like romances that are "optional", and if there are to be romances, I'd want them to be thematically relevant to the plot/story, and form a core part of the experience.

Do you think Roguey will stalk you now?
I can only hope.

Can you expand a bit upon what your role is Brother None? congrats btw
Thanks. And we're still in the process of nailing it down, things can still change, especially depending on the Torment KS (but that's the case for more people than just me, can't pay people without a budget). But for now, line producer is basically an entry-level producer spot where I am in pretty constant direct contact with Brian, Matt Findley, Chris Keenan, Kevin Saunders etc, and do pretty much anything that needs doing on the production end for WL2 and Torment. The other part of it is on the community end, where I'll help run different public outlets, community events, and deal with Kickstarter-end stuff.
