Do you think Roguey will stalk you now?

If Roguey were to become Codex Staff, would his/her stalking become investigative journalism?

So, BN, I guess you won't be allowed to say W2 or T2 are shit, even if they will be, huh? Sucks. I know I won't listen to you anymore when you're talking about them. :troll:

Yeah. But that's nothing new. Even before they brought me on board as actual staff I was doing a lot of voluntary work and reading documentation etc, I was way too involved in both WL2 and Torment to really give an unbiased opinion, and was never really planning to pretend to. This does help alleviate any lack of clarity on that point, though.

Good to know you'll be even more biased and defensive about the games now. :troll:

Yeah, how about writing for Gamebanshee? Gonna give up on that or are inXile's games confirmed for GOTY already?

Yeah, yeah, I'm just jealous. :(

I'm quittin' GameBanshee, obviously. And Buck knew this was a possibility for a while now, which is part of the reason why I've been dialing back my involvement with GB for some time. My last article was the Risen 2 review, 10 months ago, and I wrote very little in 2012 overall. Didn't even vote for Game of the Year. Gotta do everything to avoid any conflict of interest, yeah. I was never gonna write about inXile games regardless, but now I'm pretty much done writing reviews period. Unless I open up a personal blog or something, but meh.

NEW FORUM SECTION: https://torment.uservoice.com/forums/195699-pledge-tiers

This forum is for feedback and suggestions our approach to the tiers and rewards in general. Soon we will create a new forum (or forums) that describe the Pledge Tiers we are planning, informed by your feedback both here and in the Pledge Rewards forum.

Several of the ideas in this forum have been set up in opposition to each other, with the description of the idea attempting to describe the argument for it. Please feel free to add comments to these ideas to or refute (or support) any specific statements made.

Remember that you can also post your own ideas!

We greatly appreciate your time and input in helping us design a great Kickstarter campaign for Torment — one that will both provide the backers with value and the project with the funding necessary to make the best Torment possible.

NOT PLANNED

Torment (Dev Team, Torment Website) responded · Feb 24, 2013
There are no plans for Chris Avellone to work on Torment. We, too, greatly respect him, and many on the team have collaborated with him directly and benefited from his design experience and wisdom. He has given us his blessing to undertake this effort, and while we are establishing our own vision for the game, and while our commitment will be to the backers, we intend to make Chris proud as well.

They could at least give me my votes back automatically. :M

I'm starting to feel like MCA is a hair-metal supergroup kind of guy for Kickstarters, where they're just throwing his name out to get more money regardless of whether his contribution makes sense or would actually make the game better. Is MCA working on one area in the game really going to make a noticeable difference? Probably not, but then they can advertise it as an MCA joint!

Edit: I'm a retard, thought that was something they put up, not a fan suggestion.

So basically, "we have to start the crowdfunding soon, but will delay it in case you're not sure of it/us."

Can't wait for people to boycott this just because MCA might not be working on it.

78 votes for more hair style options... You can trust backers to know what's realy important in a cRPG.

Is there any idea at all if the game will focus on a fixed identity protagonist or if we will be able to start with a player created character?

Well choosing gender is a stretch goal. I don't know if that answers your question.

30th take of Torment endorsement video, I think the 30th nailed it. I hope. If not, video endorsement is NOT my calling.

Why is he making an endorsement video?

Nah. It says planned/not planned for a reason. We're just communicating intents.

:| Why do you think? To endorse the project.

I mean, he already gave his blessing. Not that I'm complaining about this video.
