I saw some new patch dropped, so I tried playing it as I never really gave it a fair go and it STILL has this thing where units will randomly stop doing whatever you told them to do and just stand in place. Like, wtf, this is not serious.

Legend of Bullshit. No idea how that guy has any traction for been CA critic. Can't listen him talk for more than 2 minutes, he speaks like Kamala, explaining everything in the most elementary way possible and saying nothing of value.

You can't trust popular (maybe any) streamers at all when it comes to the games they stream. There are just too many incentives for them to spin narratives, lie, shill, backpedal, grift, bootlick and damage control. They can't afford to communicate their genuine opinions and so are fundamentally untrustworthy.

As Legend points out: After his petition to give the Old World campaign to everyone who owns WH3 CA specifically banned their content cucks from starting petitions in the future. These are the kind of people that are in CA's "inner circle".

it's not like people really into the game don't go out of their way and buy all three games just for more races, you know.
People who bought WH3 were stuck with a universally reviled campaign and told that their game was only playable if they owned two other games. If the campaign was great it could have worked but obviously that wasn't the case.

Legend is ok.e is not a donation rat and just posts funny WHIII videos. Plus, while he was on СA program hу constantly bugged them with exploits. Like, here's an exploit, please fix it. And then they simply ignored him completely. It seems that was a focal point of all youtube and twitch people on their program - theydigged hard to find shit that made Total War exploitable and shitty and reported it and never ever had any responce. Everyone screamed at CA that Chaos Realms compaigh was intolerable and theystill decided to release it becasue management was so disconnected from reality.

i kept wondering why so many lords focused on low tier, useless troops. finally i found troop limiter which caps not only specific troops numbers factionwide but also armywide. suddenly *most* of the armies are made of crap, rendering those previously helpless lords quite useful.

I'm just tired of how easy the game is even on vh.

Started a Grombrindel campain (have to delete Naggarond), and like 15 turns in, Malekith suicides his army into mine.

As far as I could dicern, a lot of people complained about not being able to catch the opponent's army, so CA changed the AI to frequently suicide into you.

But could they ffs maybe disable that in the higher difficulties? That shit never happened in WH2.

The game has run its course, they can't realistically add anything more. Wow, another faction for the Lustria Bowl! More Ogres (Who Cares) my Lord!

Of course I do appreciate more "free" content. :smug:

They have already stopped adding to the Realm of Chaos campaign.
According to Steam, the new LLs are Immortal Empires only LLs.
I'm surprised they didn't do something like the Medieval 2 expansions where new factions came with focussed campaigns set in a particular corner of the map.

Probably because that would take effort.

Yup. Small custom campaigns a-la beastmen would have helped revitalizing this corpse of a game. Alas.

I imagine that its because the majority of people want a pure sandbox experience. IIRC the mini campaigns werent really popular in WH1. Tho I agree the game desperately needed a victory conditions overhaul.
