I don't want a New Vegas 2. I want someone who knows what made New Vegas work to make a game that takes those elements and do something different but familiar with them. Menzoberranzan and Ravenloft : Strahd Possession did right in starting at lv 5. NWN1/2 allowing you to quickly reach mid levels too. But ideally the starting level from all D&D CRPG adaptations should be between 6~8.

Because it's the most likely place you'd find information. By this point you had already single-handedly dealt with two assassins in Candlekeep, soon to be a third at the FAI. Regressing the character into hiding beneath Elf-Mom's skirt felt like a contrivance. I don't disagree with going to Khalid and Jaheira for counsel, but had Gorion lived, the situation would have been the same. K&J would still have their mission and I doubt Gorion ever intended to follow them south. He'd have either persuaded them to put their task on the back-burner or failing that moved on. When he gave you that advice, he had no idea who you were dealing with. K&J were never capable of saving Christmas.

You're describing particularists, not elitists or populists. There just happens to be a lot of cross-over between the codex and the right. The right tacitly recognizes that society is always ruled by an elite they just want it to be one that exemplifies their own values. That's why they're here. The codex has the highest concentration of "exceptional individuals" and the right, whatever it believes individually, is not trying to change it. The right conserves.

Im back. I was known as dannyfx1. All my family is dead. I was on the streets in winter. It was harsh. But, Im better now. The temptation was too strong for me. I want to experience mysterious and exciting life again. And also, Im kind of lonely. Im playing Grimoire right now and couple of other games, like Diablo 2 with MedianXl mod ( the Brother Laz version, which is hardcore ), Fallout 1 ( for the first time yay! ), Wizardry 7 and Darkest Dungeon and Planescape Torment ( EE ), Shadowrun Dragonfall, Shadowrun Hong Kong, Morrowind and Etryan Odyssey on Melon Ds emu. I want to say I have now much better understanding, what makes a game special trough reading Codex and personal experience, so I've grown a much better at understanding game design. Thank you.
