I have just cleared Junkyard with a Psi Monk, the gameplay mainly involve some stealth/movement to isolate mobs and then spamming unarmed melee attacks.

Could I expect the gameplay change or evolve as I get further, or is it more or less the same ?

Bigger mobs which are harder to isolate, but beyond that not much.

All fist attacks were nerfed a little, enemies have 140% mechanical damage resist against them.
So you might have some trouble with armor, especially if you don't get Expose Weakness. In-character ways to get around it are to use pneumatic hammer enhancements, since those don't get the 140% penalty.

Restarted my playthrough on dominating instead of hard as I found hard to be way to easy, this is my first dominating run and so far it has been pretty smooth with this psi-machete build. Breezed through Depot A and only died once to a mine. Just finished the Beast fight, though I had to restart that one a few time due to my electrokinesis jumping half the fucking map and hitting Saban in the face (Really should let electrokinesis ignore friendlies) and it was fairly easy as well, didn't have expose weakness for foundry, but thought control carried me there.

Overall I'm liking dominating a whole lot more than hard, the DC enemies everywhere especially are fun to deal with. Having to find a way to deal with shit like burrower warriors, ancient rathounds, and goliaths in the early game was really fun. I really recommend anyone who hasn't tried a dominating run yet to try it, it's very fun.

Yep. Pretty much this. Reminds me of my case where I couldn't finish my first time ever playthrough of the game because of the same reason. The first time I ever beat DC was on Dominating :). Anyways, glad you're enjoying yourself.

Three expeditions behind my belt, haven't been there once

Haven't missed much. I also don't go there.

You can actually farm those pretty well with a Sniper as you can shoot them from outside of the Fog of War. The same way enemy snipers can shoot you.

I wouldn't consider doing the Marsh without Acid/Bio/Mechanical. The CAU armour seems like a must.

Sniper rifles will draw attention because the marsh is cramped with critters. i did it without engaging anything. Just stealthed my way to the unique shotty. Only fight i had was with the spiders so i could open the lemco door back to the pirate base. There i had to steal a junk jet so i could get mine that was parked in the entrance of the marsh. Good thing is the pirates won't aggro if they see you on the stolen jet as long they don't see you stealing it.

there are 3 oddities each 3 exp worth in the offices of the 3 core factions, you can grab them ( you can find the coretech one during the main quest later)

You can find cyber module oddity (the one in Corethech office) somewhere later in the game, probably in facility full of robots where they hide the Cube.

you can destroy hives by getting in range from jet ski and running away at turn end. Lemurian armor works well if you plan on getting shot too

btw, according to wiki there is oddity to be obtained from hive but i never saw it

Glowing Larva, i got it once.

I'm still trying to convince that faggot captain to let me raid the protectorate ship and he won't let me even with 110 effective persuasion, what the fuck.

cant find successful check over web either. Do you get access to jetski bar? I recall there was persuasion exclusive drink. Perhaps you joined JKK for some boosts or can craft heartbreaker leathers?

I have access to Drag n Drop, yes. I haven't seen the drink that boost persuasion there yet. I'll try again with the captain later: JKK jacket + All in + Hypno Goggles + Heartbreaker Boots. If it doesn't work, i'm gonna go postal on Port Ceto

When I save the guys on the 3rd level of GMS and tell Gorsky, he answers "Well done" or sth. But he used to say "I am out of medals to give you" sarcastically. Has this dialogue been really changed or did I use a different conversation option?

Maybe it somehow tied to if you angered Gorsky with "Whatever paps" first time you saw him. Don't htink it was changed.

Innervation system is completely idiotic making your PSI pool go zero every damn time you just want to switch just a single ability.

I find that it could be neat puzzle to think out which fights you could takle with this set of abilities withtou chnging then to fully deplete psi reserves, and to make more universal set allowing more figths without changing. But it could feels as sort of limiting yeah.

Short Rebel

It looks like offensive euphemism for dick lol, at least in Russian ahah.

Can't imagine someone doing that zone without stealth or worse, melee.

At beta I runned there as Str-based mache-machete man in metall armor... it was so frustrating I stopped to play - and that after I cleared out Ceto...

Spear Throw will delete them with one spear I think.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I'm going to make a Psi-Swordsman that utilizes Psychostatic Electricity and other crit chance modifiers to get the most out of Red Dragon. The main reason I want to do it is so I can use the sexy looking Tesla Armor. Is it worth specing into Dodge and Evasion? Even with nimble, my armor penalty will be at 25%. I'm sure I can manage a Con 3 build on hard, but idk if it will be viable on dominating with absolutely no defenses other then a fat energy shield and stuns for days.

I don't think you'd like to use the Tesla Armour all the time. Infused Rathound Leather might be the better choice considering you will be one shotting bosses with Decapitate. In which case, yeah, go ham on Evasion/Dodge. If you're planning on a Dex build you could also consider the perk that gives extra dodge while you have glove weapons equipped and use the Boxing Gloves as a secondary weapon before passing the turn.

btw i tried to plan knife thrower with... spear to spin and throw javelin once per turn... yeah, even on paper doesnt make much sense

Maybe we can take a look?
