Yes, I'm sure the publisher prefers to publish their game on GOG where it will have a tiny audience compared to the reach it has on Steam, and that's why they abandoned their Steam plans. Fucking moron

While Steam has no problem publishing outright porn, they've come pretty hard down on anything where the girls look too young

And yet the girls don't look "too young" in that one. Steam takes more percentage on sales than GOG does, and requires 100$ fee to be sold on steam (not the page itself but the act of making it buyable), more plausible reason.

Tokyo Clanpool soon coming to GOG, I *THINK* this was banned from Steam before they even released it

Anime moe aesthethic have a lot of problem with Steam in general. Some of them rightfully so as usual Japanese VN setting is high school romance.

But Steam has been know to ban even unrelated games with anime moe aesthethic even when they are not adult games nor having under-age characters. Either they use AI identification tool or they have politically inclined approval team (can be leftist but as shown in Codex, a lot of right-ist people also dislike and associate the aesthetic with underage girl)

Yeah, if it's politics-related I can understand the bans coming from the sewers that is Steam, they also banned Domina because the author stated opinions in the 'wrongthink' category of which I don't entirely remember. But for the previous game in the thread here, it doesn't seem to be related to politics, don't know. Oh well I guess it doesn't matter all that much.
