So according to this dandy lil interview with the developers we have some confirmation of the new Thin-Blood disciplines.

Basically every kindred can run faster, hit harder, jump higher, basically extra strengh and stamina and all that jazz. The developer is quoted as saying there's a "ton" of new combat and movement abilities. Take that as ya will.

  • Corocoren (sp?) Chiropteran: Bat based/themed discipline, allows for gliding, flight and bridging large gaps and distances.

  • Nebulation: Mist based/themed discipline which allows you to turn into a partial mist, where in the lower levels you're basically an immaterial cloud where projectiles and other objects just go right through you, you can be sucked up by vents and fans, pass through grates, etc.

  • Mentalism: basically telekinesis, think this was shown off in the trailer, starting off it's basically that and later on you can affect and move larger objects.
Keep in mind they've said they have more in the works which gets me mighty excited, the creativity and different applications of all the different disciplines is honestly one of my fave aspects of white wolf games!

Pretty cool, this maybe a sign that they are taking level design serious with all those movement skills, they remind me alot of Dishonored movement powers, please God, a Bloodlines game with Dishonored level design. I hope that at some point you are forced to enter on a clan somehow or the game isn't too generous with experience.

I'm confused how the last few pages of this thread happened the way they did. Were Vampire: The Masquerade and Bloodlines written by liberals/leftists? Obviously. Have liberals/leftists become so extreme and authoritarian that they'd lump the liberals of the 60s-00s into the far right now? Obviously.

Prime Junta the guy who created Vampire: The Masquerade was excommunicated for writing those "Vampires are killing gays in Chechnya and blaming it on Islam" paragraphs. The modern left has no tolerance for that kind of edginess anymore.

(meanwhile back in the 90s "suicide bombers exist because Malkav tainted the drinking supply in the middle east with his blood" was something that went on by without much comment :P)

To be fair, that almost caused a diplomatic event for non-sjw reasons.

I am p. sure that is because the creator was way too crass and too on the nose as well as being completely tone deaf, not because he was more moderate. Not to mention of course it sounds like misguided apologia to me.

Pathfinder: Wrath
I have no idea what this thread is about anymore.

RE: Bloodlines' ending - I think it was very much skewed towards the Strauss ending. Anarchs are portrayed as idealistic, but unpractical and with no direction, the only one with any ability at politics is Isaac; LaCroix is a weasel who is very obvious you shouldn't trust; the Kuei Jin are xenophobic and very much unknowable, I have no idea who would ally with them; pissing everyone off in the solo ending is also not very smart, you are basically barred from the politics of the night and are a threat to Anarchs, Camarilla and Sabbat. Strauss is the most level-headed and is shown to know what he is doing. Yeah, you might remain a pawn, but you are a *fledgling* and are like 2 weeks old, rising as a vampire and immediately becoming prince or something is unrealistic. You'll have the most chance to get somewhere with Strauss as your mentor.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
So, Schaffer is the composer, non-voiced protagonist and confirmation that its a full-on RPG.
I am actually starting to feel ze hype
Epic Store exclusive and Paradox DLC schemes are making me wary. Maybe, by the time it releases on Steam, all DLC will have been released.

Edit: Ignore this post.

:what:

Narratively speaking, it's a total anticlimax, but that's fine for a RPG. If it wasn't a role playing game with choices, it would definitely end with the sarcophagus opened and the bomb exploding.
