Why don't reactionaries make their own games instead of whining and complaining all the time about progressives making their games more inclusive?
Because publishers and mass media support inclooosive and "progressive" and mark everything else that doesn't fit in their ideology as "problematic" and fire up an information war on them?
This based slav made it tho...

GamesBeat: Dale was talking about bagged blood. I assume he gets it from blood banks or distributors. Can you do that and not actually feed on people, if you want to go that way?

Mitsoda: The thing about bag blood — yes, you can get it. But bag blood just helps you get blood. The big thing for vampires in our game is to get resonance, which comes from feeding on people. It’s getting the emotional rush from feeding on people. Bag blood is like if all your food was Cheetos. You can technically get by on that, but it’s really not what you want to eat.

When I heard that, my (possibly incorrect) impression is that they're going to be disguising loading screens with transit animations, quite a few possible options there https://www.visitseattle.org/visitor-information/getting-around/

I wanted to play VTM:Bloodlines again, but I realized I didn't have my CD with me anymore. So I went to see how much it was on Steam.

20 FREAKING DOLLARS!!!

Yeah, that's Activision. They frequently put it on sale for 75% off, but it makes sense to them to never put the base price below $20.

I never violated the masquerade the very first time I played Bloodlines and I was a Nosferatu. If you freaked out a lone guy with your presence it didn't happened anything, I just kept the distances and used the sewers only to replace the taxi. Only problem is that I missed some content. For example I never spoke with Larry: why should I approach a guy in the street if I could be punished if I speak with humans that are not linked with vampire world?
Also Nosferatu lacks unique disciplines (well they aren't the only ones) and the lack of taxi driver is a little annoying, one thing is being carried by Caine all the time and another is Caine summoned only in the very end.

Yeah, like Malkavians, Nosferatu make far more sense as a second or greater playthrough option, not your first.

Anyone noticed how there are two variants of this image with different people in the top left and right corners? Different clans maybe?

The pose is the same, but the clothes are different as is one skin tone, maybe? Perhaps they are either from other builds or are randomly generated archetypes of each clan. Could even be the second character stage of customization we have heard about.

it does and it doesn't.

see, I'm not going to wait for a sale when the game is ancient and the studio is defunct.

I'm either going to pirate it or get it somewhere else.

there's no dev to support, no possiblity of a sequel coming from my purchase alone (especially when one is already on the way).

there's just a greedy, fat corporation that thinks they can milk $20 out o me for a game I've already purchased.

no thanks.

GamesBeat: Why set Bloodlines II in Seattle?
Mitsoda: We’re based there. It’s kind of writing what you know. I think one of the other reasons we like Seattle as a setting is that it’s really underutilized in TV and movies.

Let's petition them to add Frasier in the game.

GamesBeat: Did you include any other World of Darkness monsters in this?

Mitsoda: We cannot be specific about what else you might encounter right now, but I will say that it is the World of Darkness, and not just Vampire the Masquerade.

You also get the potential to learn advanced discipline powers and raise your statistics past 5 points, depending on how low your generation is. That's usually the 8th generation and below. And vampires of a higher generation can't use Dominate on you.

Playing as a thin blood sounds pretty boring. The more I hear about the game the more my expectations lower, and they were already pretty low.
I guarantee they'll fudge it so you're the only super special thin blood who can somehow master all disciplines and do it past 4 dots. Yet those mean oppressive vampires are against trans thin-blood rights! So it's time to rise up and speak the truth to power! Bash the fash!

If it's any consolation, this announcement and the subsequent thread here made me finally get around to installing and modding and playing the original game!

SJW implications for the sequel made me realize I could go back in time to when games were made without constant self-censorship.

Guise, they already explained the plot.

a) A bunch of vampires embrace a big crowd of people
b) The Cammies try to shut it down and cover it all up but the place is firebombed before you can be executed
c) you and various other thinbloods are scattered to the wind, a sidequest involves tracking them down

I wonder if by thin blood they really mean Caitiff. Can a mass embrace even make a thin blood?
thin blood just means that you were sired by some lowly 13th gen vampire which is entirely possible if a bunch of anarchs or sabbat aligned gangrels decide to stir some shit up.

You might be 14th to 16th generation as a thin-blood. They might mean Caitiff, but since 5E was made in tandem with this game, I doubt they'd mistake the terminology like this, it's an entirely different thing.
