I don't even know how this game will end up. I played Blacklight: Retribution, Hardsuit Labs previous title, for way too many hours to admit, and honestly it was a fantastic dark science fiction shooter. It had a preposterous amount of content that somehow ended up balanced in spite of the insanity. I'm talking shurikens that you could stab with and also throw which became motion detection stun grenades when they hit a wall, actual mech suits you could deploy in multiplayer and merchant depots you could interact with to buy large armaments to fight back against the mechs, such as flamethrowers and rail cannons. Full character customization in an FPS shooter that let you modify your ability to "wall hack" which took control away from your weapons during activation. There was a siege mode, a zombie horde mode, etc. etc..

Hardsuit Labs is a creative bunch, but I think they're more suited to making a new Deus Ex given their skill set and interest. As for the SJW shit, who's to say in this era, these guys could have been bowled over by some toothpaste hair HR woman already, but they did make The Duchess, a playable preconfigured character in Blacklight, whose rarest skin looked like this:
