Is the whole team a half shaved pink haired wokennial? I know you shouldn't judge but... I'd put money on this being the gaming equivalent of the female Ghostbusters.

IW has no excuse to be like that because it is not the only game that came out on Xbox. Star Wars Republic Commando was an Xbox game and has great looking environment. Hell, backported Xbox HL2 looks okay. Practically any PC-Xbox game of that era looks and works better than IW.

If you ask Harvey Smith about Invisible War on Twitter (and I have) he's pretty open about what a clusterfuck the project was. Xbox focus was only part of the problem. I believe the thing I asked about was why you get all the biomods you'd ever need in act one of the game, making them all pointless after that, and he basically did a mea culpa about the entire balance of the game being shit because they were so rushed and underwater figuring other things out.

If you can get past IW's technical and scope shortcomings due to it being made for Xbox it has a lot of appealing stuff in it. Still the worst immersive sim ever made though.

The reason DX:IW looks so bad is because they tried to go with a purely dynamic lighting system. Long before it was ever practical. They thought they could get this tech for 'free' for the next Thief game, by creating it during IW. The idea was so stupid it's hard to explain just how stupid it was, but if you want to know how badly those tech choices turned out... the reason IW load times are so poor is because the entire game is relaunched when you switch levels.

Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut Codex+ Now Streaming! Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
IMO the dynamic shadows in IW is one of the cool looking aspects the game has. It didn't need to be *fully* dynamic though, but i guess Doom 3's reveal sent many developers trying to copy its lighting.

Of course Doom 3 wasn't held back by shitty console hardware.

Rewatched Moonlight.

It's an okay little show that was cancelled after 16 episodes like everything remotely decent ever.

Mick St. John is a private investigator who absolutely despises being a vampire, mostly for some trivial reasons like burgers, apple juice and American dating culture. He joins forces with a clickbaiter, played by Sophia Myles, and they solve crimes and stuff. I guess we're supposed to feel sorry for him but can't say I was particularly convinced. The Anglo-Americans insist on vampires being monsters and vampirism being a horrible, horrible curse but then remove the monstrous part and turn them into superheroes who are not the biggest fans of sunlight and have to drink blood from a glass every now and then.

On a brighter (darker?) note, it also has Shannyn Sossamon playing Mick's wife and sire, Coraline. There are some moments when she looks like the most seductive woman in the world.

Trevor Munson conceived the character of Mick Angel in 2004 and spent two and a half years writing a novel featuring the character. The story was adapted into a feature film script, and Bruce Willis was considered as a possibility for the lead role.

The series was titled Twilight, and Koslow and Munson wrote the pilot, which Warner Bros. Television initially commissioned as a presentation lasting 14–20 minutes in January 2007.

The project was renamed Moonlight when picked up by CBS on May 14, 2007, prior to the upfronts.

What does it mean "he will be playable"? Players will be able to play other characters? If so
