BTW considering they decided to kill Mitsoda writing and story, and they are making game from scratch, expect game to be released in 2023 the earliest, not before 2023.

Is there any real Paradox info on this other than the uncle of the mother of the friend who is "one source close to the publisher"?
I avoided all info about this trainwreck last year, and I'm glad Paradox acted as a greedy idiots, and didn't bother to look at what's happening in the beginning of that project. Now theirs greed was punished by forcing them to pay second time.

I doubt you'd get better source than "source close to the publisher", but I know enough about projects like this to know repairing a failed project is sometimes more costly than doing it again from the scratch. And I remember a typical ETA for games like this. As long as Paradox will not make it even bigger mess by forcing them to release it as "multiconsole" game, November 2023 is sane deadline for game of this complexity.

BTW, considering Paradox is no longer wanna use Mitsoda writing to make a product, and paid for it already, they should release Mitsoda writing into public domain, with Mitsoda permission of course.
You think they would release writing that would be compared with the writing of the released game? The game might not comparare favorably to Mitsoda's writing...

Maybe, but when they remove all of Mitsoda's writing, they better quit calling the new game "Bloodlines 2" as well! Also Rik Schaffer just released a new album with some songs that were in the Bloodlines 2 promo...

Nah, feel free to wait "better sources" until white hair start falling off your balding big nerd head.

I dont believe so, no. Paradox has gone into complete radio silence about the project. They said initially that they would give the project to a new (unnamed) developer in order to finish the game, but since then, not a peep. They have shut down their Bloodlines 2 forum, they did not mention anything in the "Paradox Insider" sessions, where they announce new projects, etc... their "World of Darkness" Youtube channel (hosted primarily by Outstar) hasn't said a word, etc etc.. It certainly looks like they have managed to keep the lid on whatever it is that they are doing.

Don't worry, I bet they are all incloosive too, just like Rudi is.

No, the game is not canceled. Paradox stated that they would be switching developer (from Hardsuit to unnamed), and we haven't really heard anything since. Bloodlines 2 was to be the "centerpiece" of Paradox's new "World of Darkness" franchise (which makes one wonder why they gave it to Hardsuit in the first place, but it was probably cheap). And of course Hardsuit had Brian Mitsoda at the time, which was used as the sole selling point in the marketing for quite some time.

Since we have not heard from Paradox since the developer switch, one can assume that they've probably ran into a snag or ten. Among popular theories are having to start from scratch (not that inconceivable really, as Hardsuit had been making games in the Unreal engine for 20 years. If Bloodlines 2 didn't "work" with what Hardsuit was doing (and looking at the demo, it really didn't), i dont think they could salvage much if any of the code). Then we have what Raghar (i believe ?) said, that they no longer wanted to use Mitsoda's story.. having to make a new story easily adds quite a bit of development time (and reinforces the notion that they'll start from scratch). As does the news that Wesp dropped that "Rik Schaffer just released a new album with some songs that were in the Bloodlines 2 promo" (again leaning towards a "new direction").

Ultimately, i dont know, and all of the above is just speculation (or rambling, depending....lol). Until Paradox announces something, the best we can get is probably "a source close to the publisher" :)

Edit : ahh, i forgot. When the problems started, and it became obvious that Hardsuit were in waaaaaay over their heads, Paradox hired what is popularly called an "axe man" (Alexandre Mandryka), to tie things together, get rid of any excess content and "bloat", and get the product out the door. Well, he didn't have much success with that, which also lends a lot of weight to the "starting from scratch" theory.

The 'writers' for this abortion of a tabletop book said they won't allow people to actually play Sabbat, only use them as the evilest of evil antagonists. So perhaps sabbat will be bad enough not to use the preferred pronouns of the brave nonbinary black identifying gay thinbloods.
