I heard/read that inXile will have a 'store' set up for backers where you can buy extra stuff though. This had better be true as I had to downgrade to the $15 tier...Had to buy a damn telescope for my boy...

Oh great, we already have a DLC store and the game isn't even out yet. :smug:

I don't mind...I'd eventually like the Collector's Edition and some other trinkets but could not justify the price in my barely employed, Romanian wage terms. When I get back to Australia I'd be able to get the goodies. inXile did suggest that obviously rewards for original KS backers wouldn't be available anymore(like signed boxes, medals or getting your name in the credits, game etc.) but they might make more CE boxes available and so forth.

I've just checked my debit card and $30 I pledged are still on it... so, will they pull the money from it eventually or there's smth gone wrong??? :?
I just got an email from Amazon saying that my payment had been successful. It's been half an hour since the kickstarter closed so they obviously don't process payments instantaneously. Just wait a bit longer if you haven't been charged yet.

Same here. I wouldn't worry about it yet. I checked my kickstarter backer history and the status on the pledge was "collecting" so it probably will just take some time to complete.

They might have some kind of CE but I believe they have stated that it won't be the same as the Kistarter one but I might be confusing this with the Shadowrun KS.

I upped my pledge to $500 with less than 2 minutes left . I am a sucker for those darn collectibles and I kept looking at how many signed Collector boxes were sold (1200) to how many Doomday kits were sold (172) and like any spoiled collector I wanted the rarer one!!! :p Now I have to figure out how to tell my wife this?!!!!!!

You may not have hands, but you have the heart of a true bro. :salute:

The hell are you doing in Romania? Did I ask you this before? Or was it some other guy? I have the feeling I've had this conversation before.

Yeah, anyway, I asked them a couple of days ago on Kickstarter about the Collector's Edition and they said that if they'll have one for sale it most likely won't be the same as this one. What that means, nobody knows. It could have less stuff, more stuff, different stuff...

Well it's official. inXile now has my hard earned money:

We wanted to let you know that we successfully completed a payment to inXile entertainment for $500.00 on Apr 17, 2012.

They better not screw this up! The next 18 months are going to be agonizing (and that doesn't even take into account how long I'll have to sleep on the couch!).

My wife is Romanian and I have a son here. I think you did have a conversation with me about this before....or maybe it was someone else? ;) Long story but funds to bring them back ran out coupled with my wife getting cold feet about leaving etc. bla bla and so I'm here still...

Well any kind of nice boxed version to buy eventually would be nice. After being a part of the funding(even modestly) I'd like something more impressive to put on the shelf as a reminder than just a standard box or (shudder) DVD case bought at retail.

No, you're right. I heard the same thing. Obviously it won't contain the previous KS tier rewards or have your name in the credits, for starters. I'd just like it to stand out from the basic retail edition.

Don't worry, if I hate the game I'll sell you my Collector's Edition. Contact me in 3 years or so when the game is released.

Anybody have the quotes from some of our esteemed members who categorically stated that this would never be funded over... what was it 1.5m, 2m... I can't remember? Inquiring minds want to know! :hmmm:

There were a few dipshits at the very beginning who were resolute in their belief that the $900,000 goal wouldn't be reached. Dipshits.

VOTS retarded arguments about not reaching the 2.1M mark were still the highlight though.

I seriously doubt that. Not at the beginning at least. As soon as he realized he's saying garbage maybe.

Ah, so great. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself now. Hope they release frequent updates.

Congratulations for Fargo and inXile. :salute: Now go make a game to blow away all our expectations.

So far this is like a living dream. Too good to be true. Will I wake up or is this heaven?

Quite honestly. I thought that it would barely reach the 2.6M mark. I'm actually glad that I was wrong. Still, those insufferable twats that get all riled up when somebody raises a point or a criticism about this whole affair, should shut the fuck up.

I had doubts too. I remember thinking, and commenting that Fargo's low twitter follower count was a bad sign. Sometimes it's just great to be proven wrong.

EDIT - He now has 6 666... How freaky is that? Wasteland's gonna be devilish :)
