What game are you wasting time on?

You have: turnnbased melee as default. You can picking up spear to throw. You can move in a big ass (relatively) battlefield. You can detect traps, picking lock, picking pockets, setting trap/explosive. You can use talk to difuse combat threats. It's an excellent indication of the game ahead.

It was also an incredibly boring piece of shit, unlike the rest of the game.

Decided to give a Goldbox first FR series another try. First time I fuck-snaped during Curse of the Azure Bonds (too many fucking random encounters) but some time passed and I decided to start all over again from Pool of Radiance... this time on AMIGA, because I never had any contact with amiga versions of Goldbox games...

MIND BLOWN. Remember beep beep beep from PC version? yeeaah... BOWN DOWN TO ZE POWAH OF AMIGA.

I dont know mang~ It's not bad in my book, unless you have to try that shit 3 times in a row.

With save game editor, I dont have to worry about that now. Keep a completed ToT save, and edit the char if I want to try different builds.

EDIT: and indeed you can rush past everything. it's just xp and minor loots, mang~ Playing properly and you will have to stagger out of Arroyo under a burden double your weight like a mutated mule.

I played FNV again for a day or two but got bored. So I thought I'd check out HOW ITS MEANT TO BE PLAYED. So now doing FNV in Very Hard with Hardcore. And um, once again codex league is full of shit.

How is this challenging at all? So far the only thing that's killed me was a blind deathclaw when I tried to sneak into Novac through Primm Pass. I did manage that eventually too. Sadly got too much xp and couldn't get maxed int at level 1. But close enough. Mobs are the same shit with added DT. Woopty fucking doo. A few extra bullets. I really wish developers would stop calling HP padding EXTRA SUPER DIFFICULT MODE LOL LOL. Tactics? Improved AI? Fuck that homie, WE'LL ADD HP AND DAM REDUX LUL!

And Hardcore. What a joke. At no point have I gotten immersed in it because there's no fucking feedback. OH SHIT FOOD AT 150 I BETTER EAT SOMETHING YAWN. And there's food and water literally everywhere, not to mention a bed. LULUL.
Why even bother with hardcore mode when it's so fucking lazily done. Food/drink and sleep have been requirements in a number of RPGs over the years, and I don't think I've seen it done more half-assedly than this. Good christ.

WHERE IS UR OBSIDIANS NOW?

EDIT: oh, very hard does have additional fucking lulz too. Like every friendly mob that ends up in a fight, usually ending up crippled. And staying that way, possibly indefinitely? Only checked a few days later, and Sunny was still limping around. Retarded.

To clarify, RK means metaphorical rape, as in horrifyingly unforgiving combat (without hp bloat. Enemies die fast, but so do you) and stats mattering a whole lot more in every facet of gameplay.

The actual Loverslab stuff is pretty foreign to me as far as getting it in game goes, since I gave up pretty quickly realising that I'd get more laughs out of just reading their forums.

Playing Brutal Legend, since I picked it up at less than two dollaru. But for the love of god, I thin there is a bug or something because I cannot play the solo, just totally impossible or I'm missing something very obvious. The guitar just overheats when playing the first 'note' (ie. pressing 1, whether I hold it down or not)

Hardcore mode does not give enemies more HP or damage threshold / resistance
I didn't... say it did?

Playing the Marathon:Resurrection TC for Unreal Tournament.

It's much smoother than the Aleph One version of Marathon, which means no motion sickness - yay!

One thing that annoys me is how weak the weapons are - fists do more damage than a Magnum or an Assault Rifle. Unless there's something special about those aliens' physiology that make them more vulnerable to fists than bullets, that's pretty retarded. I never played UT before, so it may be a feature of UT, though.

The game is quite hard too, with smart, fast moving aliens that do a lot of damage when they hit. Couple that with ammo shortage (before I realized how effective fists are and that enemies will fight each other if hit by friendly fire), recharging stations which are miles apart, and saving only at computer terminals, and it's a pretty difficult game. No wonder the default difficulty was "Easy"...

No auto-map is also pretty annoying, but that is definitely a limitation of UT.

You don't play OBSIDIAN games for combat only for MCA/Zeist writing and story faggotery; when they do try to make it hard it end up :retarded: like fracking BMCs with its equipment destroying elementals of doom. Eating/Drinking mode is fun in Skyrim not Mojave where you still find canned food and Nuka Cola every 2 minutes of walk. :mca: >>> :hearnoevil: Anyway. Playing KOTOR with TSLRP 1.82 and Droid planet; its great game even when I cringe clickig between Hippie and Chaotic Stupid dialogue options, still there is the way to play Kreya approves as both Jedi and Sith; and Panzer Corps and Space Hulk too, very nice logic game with Spehce Mehrines to boot; they finaly patched it to playing condition in 1.4 :incline:
