Clockwork Knight
Arcane
Nephew spent half an hour getting his face scanned JUST RIGHT for PES 2013's career mode. Eventually gave up because the rest of the character model is too, er, fair-skinned and he ended up looking like Rorschach.
Coloratura, the IF game, I assume?I also really enjoyed The Thing. But then again im a sucker for games where you're roaming about in some isolated and abandoned station/complex kind of thing. AvP, Dead Space etc.
Can't recall the name of it but there's a The Thing-like video game on a boat that's very similar to it.
H&D2 is such a wonderful game, crafted with love and it shows. Must replay it in the near future.I put the stupid boring ass Baldur's Gate 1 on hold and now I'm replaying both Mafia and Hidden and Dangerous 2 as I have decided to try something else than some super-duper RPG. Guys if you haven't, you should friggin check them out, at least HD2. This game is such a detailed military porn and the game engine they use for both the games is absolutely amazing. I don't recall any recent game that lets you do what HD2 does.
Mafia is great too but I get a little bit bored of the constant driving because this time I'm playing it strictly for the story. It even made me re-watch The Godfather. I remember it was the first game when it came out that I wanted to play so bad that I had to learn how to shoot with a mouse instead of the keyboard like I used to in Doom and Quake. Hihi I was still playing Quake 3 on keyboard only, used page up and down to aim vertically.
Soundtrack is still legendary,
2)Abuse - I used to get scared as hell when I was 6 years old playing Doom II, but this game...with its dark environs, zero music OST and ambient sound effects really scared me the hell away from it past the tutorial level. Now, I'm just thinking how awesome Bobby Prince was as a sound guy and I wish he was still creating all this good stuff.

What OS do you use? Did you have any problems launching it? I remember being scared by that sucker too.
Have you played Parodius?Playing two games from my past that I had in shareware form:
1) Xatax - Obscure game that is very derivative of Gradius and I have a feeling the name is "heavily inspired" by Xexex.
Nope. Heard that it's a funner and funnier Gradius. It never really intrigued me, but I just might give it a go now that you've asked me.Have you played Parodius?Playing two games from my past that I had in shareware form:

How's the music in Parodius? Better than Gradius?
Also, Unkillable Cat, did your Abuse have working music in it?
Finished Commandos 1. Tough game. Still looks great, must've been a real eye candy back in 1998. Games like Jagged Alliance 2 are downright ugly in comparison.
Start with Commandos Beyond the Call of Duty.
I think the first quarter of Antichamber was great, then declines and after the halfway point turns to diarrhea. It's just block puzzles. Boring ass block puzzles. It might as well have shifted you out of the game into a Flash window and just presented you with the puzzles. Such a disappointment.Antichamber
Pretty cool first person puzzler, with interesting ideas. I liked the fact that it is not linear and you can try different routes and parts of the game if you get stuck somewhere else. The way they present each puzzle with a motto is also nice.
