Finished
Saints Row 2.
I didn't get around to playing it for a long time due to the horribly optimized port, but with the "Gentlemen of the Row" mod and "Powertools" it ran as well as SR3.
Glad I did.
Its a much, much better game then SR3, and flat out knocks GTA 4 face down into the dirt.
I didn't realize
quite how badly GTA 4 lived up to the legacy of the first 3 games before.
Stilwater is what a "Next Gen" Liberty City should have looked like.
Colorful with memorable neighborhoods, instead of a drab brown and grey mess.
And don't even get me started on the Missions...
to the Bros at Volition!
Edit:
Only thing I didn't much like was the soundtrack.
Commercial/News/Talky Stuff was fine, but most the actual music I didn't find very enjoyable.
The "Classical Music" station was much appreciated though
, Rockstar hasn't put one in a game since GTA3.
