What game are you wasting time on?

Brutal Legend - you mean the game with an awesome world but atrocious game mechanics? But you're playing on the PC. The game always felt a little like so Sacrifice or Citizen Kabuto (when in it came to commanding the troops) so maybe PC controls are better.
I liked both Giants: Citizen Kabuto and Sacrifice, so I'm probably the intended target demographic for Brutal Legend too.[/quote]

I liked Kabuto too, but it had game breaking bugs that could be exploitable into hell. Like for example when building a base, you could just rush build everything and when enemies started pouring in get yourself killed. After you respawned everything you already build was there so now you got a full developed base before the assault started. You could just leave the base, cause at this point it was indestructible and go do your thing. Gameplay design failure. Also the racing sections were annoying as fuck. But yeah the overall world was cool.

Ewww! Brutal Legend is a fucking terrible game. A hilarious everything else, but sweet gods of metal the gameplay is such a pile of dull & awkward fail.

I don't know, I always thought that an action game - especially a platformer - needs to have a polished gameplay. Interesting plot/world is optional. I'm looking at you Psychonauts. Y U SO BROKEN!? I wonder when Double-Fine will make a good game. There is a reason they failed.

In order of what I spend the most time on:

Stalker SoC - Finding I am not much of a Stalker and pretty much just a shooter guy. Never seem to be able to get close enough to use my silenced pistol
Sacred Gold
Baldur's Gate (one...final...push to actually finish it for once. Currently dying repeatedly to Nimbul with SCS installed  Skipped Nimbul for now, could not defeat him without just running away and waiting for his legion of defenses to expire. Clearing the misc southern areas)
Saints Row (this PC tard needs some serious XBAWKS help - I fucking suck at this game still fucking suck at this)
Terraria - losing interest
M&M1
Ultima III > Finally completed 27 years after first playing it. Up next, Wasteland (Location changed to SW US accordingly)
Recettear
Rome:Total War Haven't played either of these in months, scratching from list

Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Say what you will, but it's got more meaningful stats, character development, npc hirelings, random quests, and working economy than Skyrim.

It reminds me that I should rip my Death Cult Armageddon disk. At least they display official video on jewtube demonstrating the quality of their music.

Okay I finally started playing NWN2. Do you guys have any suggestions for a good Bard build for that game?

Metro 2033 and I absolutely love it. The atmosphere of the remnants of humanity eking out a meagre living in the metro of Moscow is done in a simply fantastic way. The game simply feels alive and while railroaded does know how to tell a story well. The conversations people have, the crowded hallways of a market in an underground station, the empty dark tunnels, the creepy realisation things are simply wrong when encountering the supernatural and the icy dead city of Moscow above are all done with such an attention to detail that I would call it love. Great game.

SS13: The engine is absolute shit, the graphics are shit (see previous point), the lag is shit (see first point), many players are shit, and some admins are shit.

Neat little sandbox.

You are playing it with russian VA and subtitles, I presume ;). Metro is like non-sandboxy version of Stalker, more linear and focused on main story quest but it has some really unique atmoshpere, which you can't see in dominating fps from America. Game has it's problems (like sneaking), but the monsters concept, and gloomy atmosphere, inside and outside is something memorable. I will not spoil the ending, but it was a good ride. I wonder what will the sequel be like in comparison.

Already played through it once and did read the book. Ending won't surprise me. What did surprise me is how much I still enjoy this game a second time around. Guess I'm just a sucker for well crafted atmospheric games.

Thief news made me load up Thief 2 again. My lover is still sexy after all these years.

Downloaded the Mass Effect 3 DLC overnight to see how terribad it is... played an hour of Leviathan and it's pretty standard ME3 stuff really, for better or worse depending on your point of view.

I see, well no matter at this point I guess. How was the book anyway? I didn't have opportunity to read it yet.

Despite a wonky Engrish translation I enjoyed it quite a bit. Mostly due to the writer managing to really breathe life into the world he describes. A lot of the little pastiches you can overhear in the game are snippets taken directly from the book.

Thanks for the info, sounds like something into my alley. I wonder how polish version will be good in the translation department compared to english one.
